Tasky/Akuma Themes up.
I’m still learning my way around here, but just thought I’d point out that Akuma and Taskmaster have their themes and previews available on the JPN site now. (faster than most it seems).
You really should read all the rules before you make a new thread. 
Not trying to be a dick, but people don’t really take kindly to new threads about random info and stuff. You should check out the general discussion and new info threads.
Taskmaster’s theme is in my new top three favs for this game. Too amazing.

Thank god for the Dreamcast version and the ability to make true custom tracks, unlike what goes on with the 360/PS3 playlist garbage.
And yeah, Taskmaster has one of the god tier themes in this game, although it doesn’t fit his character…at all.
Personally, I think it fits his appearence more than his personality. Still awesome, though.
Dormammu has my favorite track. =D
Having played very little of MvC1 I always wondered why I couldn’t find Iron-man’s MvC1 theme to compare. Never dawned on me that he wasn’t in that one! Thanks for helping me (again!). i even got to read a few theories/reasons why that was.
Yeah my bad, I read the rules but I guess I didn’t let them sink in too well. I just wanted to share, and didn’t have an hour to run through the process (work). But I’ll try to “stay on track”, don’t want people to attack me.
Oh and i don’t think you were a dick at all, i see how people can over react on some boards, a helpful tip is no problem at all =o)
No other games music starts off as annoyingly out of place then becomes closer to your heart like MvC2’s jazz.
personally i enjoy the sound track. so far i’m digging Hulk’s, Spiderman’s, Arthur’s, Amaterasu’s, and MODOK’s theme
though i’m going to have to pull my “2nd Impact” card and say that some of the characters that are returning, to me, have better themes. now this is all just my personal taste (keep in mind that i think the MvC2 soundtrack was good) but:
*Storm’s stage “On The Blackbird” from Children of the Atom
*“Bonus Stage” from Final Fight for Haggar’s
*Tron Bonne’s theme “We’re the Bonnes!” from Megaman Legends 1
*“X vs. Zero” from Megaman X5 for Zero
*Morrigan’s theme from Marvel vs Capcom 1
personally i think Morrigan and Tron Bonne are no brainers that Capcom seriously dropped the ball, while others i will admit are more obscurer songs that many not be familiar with.
the one thing i hope they do add in are stage themes, kind of how SSF4 has both character and stage songs, though is is asking a lot. i mean they have 30+ songs already.

Your choice isn’t bad though.
First order of business when you get the game is to find out if the game has the remixed version of Take You For a Ride and where it plays.

Hmm, so apparently we’re getting remixed Take You For a Ride as the character select theme in the final retail version. I know he’s been right so far, but damn I am really hoping that this is true.
So are they adding that music just as a hommage to the MvC2 fanbase? It was literally one of the most annoying tracks of any fighting game that I can think of and completely out of place. At least with the awful jazz through the entire game it somewhat “fit”, but with the much improved music that’s in MvC3, it’s even more out of place than ever before.
Also, who is taking me for the ride, and what is the mode of transportation? Are all of the contenders waiting at the bus stop, or airport? Is Morrigan going to let us ride her like a broomstick?
am i the only one who thinks akuma’s SSF4 theme would of made more sense then his mvc3 theme
to me it sounds faster paced

Each time I listen to Dormammu’s theme, I keep hearing what sounds like recycled themes from Megaman and Street Fighter Alpha 3. The best remix of an older theme would have to go to Arthur for sure too.
