I also checked out the arcade(s) at the Trocadero—that place is really confusing! I arranged to meet some 3S players through the UK NeoEmpire forum but ended up getting there later than expected. I still got some good matches in with an Alex, a Chun, and some random Kens. They have H2H style cabinets with Sanwa sticks/buttons, even sitting stools. You put in 50p for one best-of-seven round match, which takes some getting used to. Several times, I burned a lot of meter in the 3rd round, thinking the match was going to be over! I stayed till closing time only to go outside and find the Tubes had already shut down! I had to rely on the courtesy of many strangers to bus my way back to Greenwich.
I’ll take you up on that. It’ll just be me and a bag for clothes - my stuff will be in storage so it’s not like I’m just dumping a bunch of crap on you. I’ll call you when the date is closer to work out whatever needs worked out. thank you scott
