yo so HUB is having an MvC2 tournament tonight from 9pm-2am – we going. Keith, Chris – I expect you to represent with me – that is if stick is allowed. We can bring one for us to use and hopefully be able to do that. I can’t play that game on pad.

I just got Street Fighter IV (my first SF game, actually) not too long ago, and I really need to find some people to play with. I just started as a freshman at Penn State, and I would really like to get involved with the SF community here. Also, since I heard the news about Super Street Fighter IV, I’ve had an insatiable craving to play this game nonstop, but without many people to play against, it really isn’t nearly as fun as it could be.
Well Dr., we play every Monday night at my friend’s place. Lately we’ve been playing old school Super Turbo, 4, and lots of other stuff. All skill levels are welcome, but the biggest thing you’ll want to ask yourself is if you mind losing – if you really want to learn and have patience for getting better, then our crew is perfect for you. Whatever you want to play, we can accommodate to a point… We even have an arcade cab.

For SF4, we will mostly run stick and you can learn on our equipment.
I’ll be over a little before 5 p.m. and will get the ST cab warmed up. (Scott – that shizz better not be all jacked up from some weird experiments you be doing all weekendzzzz).
Ok cool. Sorry I couldn’t hear you earlier on the phone; I thought you said you couldn’t come, heh. Anyway, give me a call again when you get out of class, or just take the R bus and get off in front of the first apt complex after Weis market. We have sticks/controllers aplenty unless you prefer a certain one.

I had a lot of fun playing with you guys last night. I don’t get why so many people prefer using arcade sticks for Street Fighter, though. I was able to handle that Anniversary Edition stick pretty well, but when I was using Balrog, the lack of triple-punch/triple-kick buttons made it near impossible to control him while charging a Turn Punch. I couldn’t really control the other two sticks at all; I couldn’t even do a dragon punch consistently…
