I am posting too much in this thread - textual diareha here. But for the Cab’s namesake, we should get this and this. Absolutely dirt cheap considering the source material - usually MOTW goes for $400-$2,000.

yeah I think we should do MVS – lots of good stuff. Well family is coming for me this weekend, so I won’t be able to play as much ST, but I will be around for some. My bro in law that is coming is the one who originally got the cab and fixed it up. He is a technical wizard and will help us make the supergun.

what are the differences between the neo geo motw and xboxlive motw? I thought it was a direct port?
Not sure – you never know with ports. Every port of ST hasn’t been perfect. You also have visual – ST never looked better than on the cab via board. Because 360 uses hi-res filtering, the game won’t be native. Not a big deal for a game few folks like to play, but in the case of ST, it’s really important. I’d love to track down a Vampire Savior board… MVS games would look the best natively via cart… so for specific games, it might be worth it.

Alphastorm - If the xbla version is a direct port of anything, it more than likely shares the code from its DC or PS2 brethren. The DC version is a complete mess (slowdown on certain stages, input lag, terrible interlacing) but I have heard that the PS2 port is almost perfect, with only its speed (a bit fast) and a glitch concerning Guard Cancels (the game doesn’t recognize when you do one) preventing it as such. I’d put my money on the PS2 version being close to the XBLA title, but I could be very wrong.
PS - Its French, but maybe shipping won’t be so bad.
I wish I could do rotelli’s but I have too much work going on.
