You should play those Co-op vs Ai maps online. Some of them are hard as hell, especially if you end up with a weak player on your team on insane.

I bet man. I’m new to completely new to the game and dont even have the macros down yet, just lucky that my friend is pretty darn good showed me some pointers. The other day was hilarious, he was doing 2v2 online and his parter had no units at all in the first five minutes of play and got raped by the other dudes. He was telling him to “Please run away, I’m on my way” and instead the guy had his workers attacking soldiers. Somehow he pulled the 2v1 victory out of his ass by just putting up walls with Terran and those invisible gunship things.
Its kind of hard to say if there is a “best race” since Ive seen every race win in bw. As for SC2, are the korean tournament finals even out this year?
You need to go 1 gate and hold off your ramp with a few zealots,stalkers and a sentry and tech rush to Colossi. if you can hold early game and they stick to marauders you should have the match won. just get a few zealots in between to shield the Colossi. If they still stick to an organic army composition add a few high templars to clean up.
^holy shit is that Walter Mercado, lol?! Anyways, after playing a couple of games over lan, terrans seem to me to be a bit over powered, and zerg are kinda nerffed with the loss of guardians. but what do you do as a toss to beat a toss cannon defense?
Are there any forums or websites that are like SRK but for StarCraft 2? I just did a quick Google search but there’s a lot of fluff out there.
Also, I’m not sure if this already got asked, I’m just not going to read through 63 pages to find out.

I think Immortals beat cannons but I haven’t tried it yet. Many of the Toss players I’ve come across haven’t bothered with cannons.
Well the most active one would of course be StarCraft II they have forums there where you can discuss strategies for each race, etc. Of course with the number of people posting there you have tons of idiots, but that’s every forum. You just gotta tune out the morons and wean whatever useful info you can.

To all of you guys who played the first SC religiously, how is your overall opinion on 2? I read up on the pages a while back but I haven’t been reading too much lately. According to all of the amazon reviews the posters are pretty much divided between one and five stars. So what do the gamer minds of SRK have to say?

Well a lot of the hate stems from the fact that Activision is royally screwing everyone. The gameplay itself is quite competitive and fun.
I’ve only played like 10 multiplayer games (mostly 2v2s with no 1v1s yet), but zerg seem really hard to play. If I can get rely on my ally and get an early exp up, I can pump roaches or hydras and that’s usually enough. If I’m facing terran and they go MMM, it’s gg for me.
In the typhon11 mission you have to retrieve an artifact while moving your buildings closer to the target every few minutes because there’s an enclosing wall of fire, At the very end of the map there’s a huge toss army guarding the artifact and with the firewall not nearly enough time to build an army that can take it head on. This is also the mission where you get Banshee and the tips say to use wraiths and banshee’s to sneak through the army problem is there are enough observers and photon cannons that make maneuvering around them impossible.
What do I do?
I played what seems to be one of the very first iterations for a SC2 DotA clone that was actually pretty promising. I had so much fun playing this game at a lan that I might just have to pick it up… might.
