Agreed, I was stunned when they announced there will be no chat channels, kinda fucks up clan support too. I rememberin SC I used to chat with the clan for hours between games. On the bright side, they did say that they might release channels in future versions of b.net. Even the bar at the bottom of the main interface looks like a chat window that you can type in, LoL.

seriously. it’s not even a consideration. Without chat room people are gonna have to use irc, then add and delete people on the fly. what a pain in the ass. Blizzard forgot that some of us play in a community.

Was less of a statement of “Who wants it?” and more of a “Wow, Amazon finally gave me the pre-order code long after I expected it.” I gave it to my cousin since he wanted it bad.
Also if you want it bad, you could just pre-order it then cancel your pre-order after you’ve received the code. I mean, it’s unscrupulous, but it’ll get the desired results.

I guess it kind of makes sense, but I’m not sure what Zerg can do now to stop early pushes since lings are so weak. Getting a lot of lings is difficult with only one hatchery/queen (which you would likely be on if the push is early).
They just have to make more overlords now earlier, roaches are still really cheap, it just means you can’t mass up roaches end game anymore for a win. I think they should get the 2nd armor back to compensate now though.

Where are you hearing this 17th date as beta ending? I doubt they’d end it 2 months before retail, considering how much balance info they’ve been getting and how many more huge rebalances they have planned (i.e. Ultralisk)
