Holy crap. I just watched this 3-part cast of OminouS/Protoss VS FDHWDF/Zerg (or something like that) and OminouS fucking **dominated **with this continous Sentry/Colossi combination. It was so fucking awesome. I cannot believe the range on the phase cannons w/Colossi now. GEEZ it’s definitely worth building them now.

I’m wondering the same thing. I seem to be stuck in this never ending loop of the startup screen without it letting me click the ‘PLAY’ button. Is that what it’s doing? Downloading all the previous patches? Argh, hope everything is doing what it’s suppose to.

Will this game have the animated portraits of the units when you select them instead of a static picture? I know its a very minor thing, but it wouldve been cool if they went back to it.
Yes, the portraits are animated. The tradition of the units saying funny things after being selected multiple times has also been continued. I discovered yesterday that there’s actually a gold fish swimming inside of the immortal’s portrait.
in the menu you can change portraits to either 2d or 3d.

I’m so confused…I thought this was 3 games that you had to buy…is it just one again? Or are they turning the other two into expansion packs ala Matrix 2 and 3?
so strange, i lost a game and then when i went to the bnet it said i’d been promoted to gold. i swear it seems every match my opponent is favoured.

By the way…can someone clue me in with Protoss warp-in? I haven’t figured out how to make use of it. All I know how to do is to select one building at time that is using warp gate to warp-in units wherever, but I’m seeing everyone else on BNET do it like they’re not selecting anything at all. Is there a buffer before you can get it working like that?
It would really suck if it’s just all about APM—and I have—no APM. LOL

Currently 1v1 silver league cause I let my friend play on my account to learn the game and everything, I was gold after the placement matches though. Of course over time I think I would’ve wound up in silver league on my own accord. 2v2 copper league. A lot of those 1v1 strategies does not work in 2v2. It’s almost always whichever side double rushes wins, also doesn’t help that when I randomly partnered up, my partner is practice match bad.

After researching Warp Gates and upgrading all of your Gateways, all of the Warp Gates you have and any you decide to make will automatically be bound to the “W” key. So when you need to reinforce your army, as long as you are near a Pylon, just hit W and go nuts.
yea for warp gates all you do is press w, hold shift, and then you can go ‘z click click click click’ for 4 warped in zealots.
