Dude, some of us opted in months ago when Blizzard announced the change of its website and included the option to “opt” in. By email, you don’t mean an email with the key, right?
Made it more interesting for me. Brad from GB was exploring the UI and found the Tech Tree during the match. Better approach imo since it’s just the first day of beta unless you’ve played SCII before.
You don’t just ‘opt-in’ with an email—unless I missed some earlier posts or something.
You still have to submit your PC/laptop specs to be even considered on the B-Net site,
on your account.
I checked mine earlier yesterday. No luck yet. Argh…will keep fingers crossed though.

1st tier units in general.
Mainly about the new units…particularly from the Zerg.
Could you take a picture of the tech trees? I know once you’re in game, you can open a window to see the tech tree.

Got mine last night at 850pm. Checked email this morning since I was playing stupid SF4.
That was completely uncalled for. :sad:
Anyway, I just played my first match a few minutes ago. This has been my first competitive RTS match, in anything, for years so I was predictably mauled. I was Terran and the other guy was Zerg for the record.
Just a few notes:
The Battle.net interface is slick and intuitive, very well done.
The music is great.
Practice league is fairly nice for getting everyone up to speed. You are required to play five matches, I think, unless you opt to skip it. Though it does factor matches you were dropped from as completed it seems.
The game runs silky smooth at 1080p with the available settings maxed out on a 9800GT with two gigs of RAM.
The game was really stable, I did have one random drop out which was followed by the game crashing but that only happened once.
The build times being displayed for buildings and units is a great touch.
Even though it has been years everything started to come back to me almost immediately (not that it helped), Blizzard did a great job with keeping things familiar yet with plenty of new stuff.
Reapers were fun to play around with.
Fuck Brood Lords, or whatever they are called. I really had no idea what they were or how to counter them until it was far too late. 
These are just some quick and vague impressions, I’ll get more detailed as I sink more time into this and figure out what the fuck I am doing.
