Thanks man, that’s what I’m going for.
How do I do that?
Also, when they say to “cut probes” that just means to stop producing them from Nexus for a bit, right?

hecatomb code 298 I only play zerg
This is probably the only thing in the upcoming patch that worries me. It’s not like people genuinely 6-pool a lot in this game or anything, but it’s not something the game should encourage either. i’m sure it won’t be too much a problem, since when you fight it off the zerg player’s done anyway, it’s just not something i look forward to dealing with. Zealots (hydras even more so) are getting indirectly buffed by the tank nerf anyway so i guess that’ll have to make up for it.
You set Carriers to auto-make interceptors by right clicking the make interceptor icon. It’ll start glowing so you’ll know it’s on.
Is anyone here a real noob? I’ll be playing tonight but I haven’t had a chance to play online yet. Darko.966. I’ll be trying to wrap my head around zerg.
Hey guys! Just a reminder about SC2GG’s casual tournament on the North American server tonight. Repost below:
Hey fellas. We got a small community tournament running at SC2GG.com. There’s no prize money or anything, just a casual tournament for those who want to flex their muscles a bit and meet up with some new players. If you are interested, our next North American Weekly is going down Tuesday at 8 PM EST. You can click here to find out all the rules and how to register. For European server players, we’ve got one running on most Wednesday evenings, and I can provide details for that when it comes along. Hope to see some of you around!
im pretty sure no one likes dealing with voidrays, unless your a toss player
as zerg, hydras chew through vrays. As terran, marines chew through void rays. Nothing really…
im just saying, taking on a bunch of zels, and you got roaches and you cant always scout a base once its blocked off, and they send 2 rays to wipe everything out, I would zerg could be like that. Wish I could make 2 mutas and wipe out a base. And broodlords take for ever
Anyone having trouble starting SC2 today? When I try to launch the program it just cuts off at the loading screen and I get the message:
“Your StarCraft II installation is corrupt. Would you like to run the Repair tool now?”
I hit OK then it says:
“The Blizzard Repair tool is used to repair file problems in your installation folder. This program requires an active Internet connection. Please press Repair to begin.”
I hit repair then it says:
“Repair is unable to connect to the Blizzard servers. Please check your Internet connection and try again.”
My Internet connection is working just fine and I’ve tried running it multiple times. Has anyone had this problem? I’m guessing a re installation might fix this.
Roach pushes massacre void ray builds. Extra queens massacre void ray builds. You have enough time to tech to muta/hydra for builds that involve mid game teching to void rays. If you want that ‘cheese’ strat then just try and 6 pool.
What he said. It sucks to get caught off guard by void rays but quick roaches push just counter that. If not, you must scout to see the void rays leaving his base , pump up like 2 more queens by the time he get to your base and use transfusion to heal each queen.
p willy sign me up
Anyone find it odd that there was a bunch of Lost Temple customs last night? I wanted to play some tds and whatnot but all I saw was a bunch of lost temple.
How does laddering work ? I was on a hot streak today but then, last match I made horrible mistakes which cost me the match and I droped from Platinum ranked 50 to Gold ranked 40ish ?
Not complaining cause I doubt I was THAT good to be in platinum.
Im not sure if anyone is 100% sure how the laddering system works. If you still need help against terran here is a replay of a game I just played. I got lucky with a good cross position on metalopolis which helps out.

as zerg, trying to defend against early void rays with 2 queens can be challenging if you don’t have then energy to heal a queen. And given that one should always spread eggs on the hatch (especially early game), sometimes you might just find yourself in that position where neither queen can heal. So, do I build a 3rd queen? That seems like a waste of minerals to me…
As opposed to the 500 minerals/300 gas your opponent spent on his attack? Yeah, 1 150 mineral queen is a bargain
I don’t see why you wouldn’t transition into getting Hydras or Mutas automatically. Sounds like you should switch around your build order if you’re getting caught off guard by just 2 void rays. Imagine if the other player decided to do phoenixes. He could have a field day just picking off your drones. I’ve just stopped using void rays all together just because they hardly seem worth the effort most of the time. I once tried my best to rush to 4 phoenixes and the zerg player already had a bunch of hydras.
I lost 1 game in platinum, and it put me back to gold… love this shit
If I understand it correctly, it’s round robin in each pool and then the guy with the best record from each pool advances to the finals pool. How can the loser switch races if we’re only playing best of one game?
Do both players have to send replays? Seems kind of redundant. Maybe only the winner should have to send it.
