How do you control the right side of the keyboard (considering your right handed, with right hand on mouse) w/out looking at it? i.e. control groups 6-0.
I don’t go past 6 in SC2.
So I’ve been playing my friend lately and he’s been trouncing my ass as Zerg and Toss.
When I’m Zerg, I like to 15 hatch; he harasses with bunker in my natural or helion harass. It’s annoying to me because he’s always successful with his early harass. To stop the helions, I usually build crawlers and queens. To stop his bunker, I make roaches… But i’m always behind. His basic strategy is marines/tanks… The tanks chew up my banelings, the marines chew up my mutas… And he usually has A LOT of tanks!!! As zerg, my response is to try and drone up and macro, but it’s not enough. And I need to harass more with mutas early… I hate losing to this guy all the time.
On a small map, it’s near impossible to win a ZvT against someone equal or better than you. Only advice I can give is macro better, micro better, and guess right about what he’s doing.
Btw… I haven’t played this game in about 3 weeks, and it’s been nice. I think I’m done until they patch the game or add bigger maps. :china:

Yeah, since I got marvel last Friday I haven’t had time to even think about playing SC2. I havent played in a few weeks, but thats more due to my hectic schedule than lack of wanting to play.
I also am hyped for the next season of GSL

i’ll go back to playing starcraft someday, but nothing beats playing fighting games offline with friends.
If the netcode is good for MvC3, then I will play it a lot and slow down a bit on SC2 and enjoy other games. If not, then I will continue to play SC2. Although SC2 could use some buffs for specific races, I can’t knock Blizzard for CONTINUOSLY improving to create an enjoyable online experience!!!

However looking at the matchups, I see Idras missing from the group
Looking into it, Idras decided to leave Korea and concentrate on US and European Tournaments. Basically walking away from his Code S spot without ever actually managing to win a GSL. Personally I’d like to see him stick it out and win one first, theres really no prestige in winning all these US tournaments nobody cares about.
Bad move IMO, and really cements his bad boy image in Korea
It does, possibly, point to the possibility of a North American GSL tournament starting up that he wants to be a part of for easy money… heres hoping

i think alot of it has to do with MVC3 just coming out though. easier to be excited over Jwong & Yipes play Marvel then watch Jinro or Idra play cuz theyve been established much longer in our memories.
plus SC is just much harder to stay up competitvely compared to fighters imo.

I can understand why IdrA chooses to come to America. It makes sense, he’s arguably the best American player right now, so he can make lots of money winning tournaments in America. To top it off, I’m sure living in a country where you don’t know the language gets somewhat old after a while. Just having meaningful interactions with the general population is made extremely difficult in that manner. I mean, if forgenjuro’s mom didn’t speak English, I probably wouldn’t even be banging her.

Idra is def. one of my favorite players and I’m sad that he’s leaving, but I honestly can’t blame him. Being in a foreign country for such a long period has got to blow! Obviously he might have stayed longer if he had placed better in the GSL tourneys. Also, I’m sure he doesn’t have much faith in Zerg in their current state and probably wanted to leave now than later. The guy is very calculating and probably didn’t see a chance for himself winning as zerg in march GSL.

Huk is the man! Made PvZ look easy. Hes onto the round of 16.
Next match is against another zerg… he wins that hes into the Round of 8, and into the code S up and Down Matches!
He even has a good shot at facing Losira, another Z. Otherwise its going to be ST_August, who didn’t look particularly strong. Huk regularly defeats Nestea, what chance do these zergs have?
Huks only weakness is his choke factor…

It’s funny when someone calls out an opponent and loses to that opponent. Great matches in the GSL tonight.
