Not sure why many are making this claim that Iger and Kathleen are at odds. To be honest, if RJ doesnât do another movie in the fandom, he will operate as a creative consultant (like Lucas for the last two movies of the OT). All companies do a pivot when necessary. Lucasfilm is no different. Frankly the direction they are taking now is what they should have started with. I would really like to see what story all three of those creators want to tell. With Episode IX out of the way, the lore can be interesting and not just about a single family. It is a whole Galaxy. KK needs a Feige on the Lucasfilm team. Her street cred as a producer is incredible, but not a visionary. Itâd be funny if the dev team consists of RJ and the GoT guys and JJ sits at the top steering the ship.
Still finding it funny that all these channels that swore off Star Wars while KK was in charge have hours of content dedicated to upcoming material.

Seriously, all of those shit ass youtube channels are just going to milk the cow because they have to. They never had a serious bone about boycotting a damn thing. It was all nerd posturing and chest beating. Whatâs hilarious is that for all of the âFandom Menanceâ nonsense, all it wouldâve signaled to Disney is that the said portion of the fanbase is kind of irrelevant and online hate comments can mostly be dismissed.

I have since removed those channels from my history and made sure to unrecommend them so the algorithm doesnât spout BS. Now that being said, one larger channel that has a pretty hard dislike for KK and whatâs going on is GeeksandGamers. I definitely recall a video of him post trailer reveal while at Celebration. People credit him unofficially for starting the boycott on Solo.
