Han is a despicable piece of shit. Thats his character. He isn’t some good guy doing bad things to get by, or to feed orphans. He’s an outlaw doing illegal shit, works with gang members, leaders, dons, and all other types of degenerates to make money. He’s a piece of shit. A lovable piece of shit though. The movie should just be both him and Chewie doing the most illegal shit imaginable.
And then he turns around and suddenly does the right thing at the last moment.
It’s even an actual trope and Han is one of the listed examples.
