Star Wars

That bit of timing was a nice touch.

It’s great because Ahsoka’s presence ties Rebels to Clone Wars.

On a different note, Sarah Michelle Gellar is apparently joining the cast next season. I hope this isn’t just because her husband is in the show. Freddie Prinze Jr. is great, both his turn as Kanan and as Iron Bulli from Dragon Age: Inquisition have sold me on his VA chops, but I haven’t really heard anything about Buffy as a VA except that she did some voices for Robot Chicken, as well as some guest work for the Simpsons and American Dad.

Gellar’s done some other voice-work in the past(too lazy to IMDB), but from what I remember, she can be a decent VA.

But it’s totally nepotism that got her the job… It’s how Hollywood rolls, and it’s the only logical reason why Jeph Loeb still exists…

Is it normal for Ashoka’s race’s facial markings to change?

They haven’t really changed that much. It only looks that way since she’s wearing some sort of headdress that covers part of it (half of the two diamonds on top).

I think the art style change between shows may make her markings look a bit different as well.

Ezra is the third Skywalker. Calling some bullshit or something.

Harrison Ford Critically Injured in Plane Crash: http://variety.com/2015/biz/news/harrison-ford-plane-crash-1201447290/

TMZ was the first to report this story: http://www.tmz.com/2015/03/05/harrison-ford-plane-crash-landing-golf-course-santa-monica/

Oh no…2015 fucking sucks. Spock is already dead, you can’t take Han Solo as well

He walked away from the crash, but was bleeding from his face/head. Hopefully he’ll be ok.

Fucking empire still disabling his warp drive 30 years later

Not a good week for iconic sci-fi actors.

So is it mandatory to see Clone Wars to jump into Rebels? Answer quickly the Netflix button can’t be stopped!

At this point no, but the clone wars is better than rebels so far imo.

The markings on her face are completely different…

Nope. I mean, Clone wars is really good, but I felt like it dragged and never really got through season 4. Rebels is a different feel for sure, its a new story with new characters.

Its not different enough for me to think anything other than its artists style choices. The lines on her eyes are a bit more and the ones on her cheek go up a bit further

"Fly? Yes… Land? No."

Harrison Ford out here doing his best Launchpad McQuack impression…

Yea I just was wondering if that was a feature of her race, if it’s just an artist thing then whatever.

Look again. They’re the same basic markings. The changes are more to fit in with the style and the fact that she’s older now.

Just watched the season finale Star Wars:Rebel, really enjoyed the lightsaber duel & the introduction of Darth Vader & Ashoka. Can’t wait for season 2.

A question I want to ask you guys:

Since Star Wars: Ep.7 is 30 years after The First Galactic Civil War(If that is wrong please correct me),what is the purpose of Star Wars: Rebels? Are any of the new characters in Star Wars: Rebel gonna be mentioned in the new movie? Will there be any connection to & from Star Wars 7 & Star Wars:R?

I’m just curious on what Disney is trying to create or do with this franchise now?
