Would be cool if

I am getting so sick with the Snoke theories.
Especially when people try to bring legacy into this.
in theory, perhaps the new SW Battlefront II heroes list is:
I Darth Maul
I Qui Gon Jinn
II Yoda
II Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus
VII Kylo Ren
VII Rey
with the DLC map packs including:
III Obi Wan
III Anakin
II Mace Windu
II Jango Fett
VIII Finn
VIII Phasma
VIII "Knight of Ren 2"
VIII āKnight of Ren 3ā
thatās of course not counting the preorder characters, which could include
II Padme (with blaster)
VII Poe
VIII ???
and VIII Rey
Fuck Dice/EA
Its the old Battlefront series where it was at.
Finally saw Rogue One last weekend. The ending would have made the movie worth watching even if it hadnāt otherwise been as good.
Good tributeā¦
I actually enjoyed battlefront from EA. I am excited for battlefront 2.
Luke is as good as deadā¦
Taking the right steps. Just show enough to get hype with some basic details and not a whole plot summary.
Iām so hard right now.
So Lukeās solution is to eliminate the Jedi after eliminating the Sith so there are no Force users that risk moving to the dark side.
even without the Jedi and Sith around, there would still be conflict, strife, and unbalances through the galaxyās militaries and ambitions.
LOOK AT TATTOOINE. no Jedi there (not counting hermits that dont care to dethrone evil on the planet), and itās a cesspool of corruption.
if they cared to look at the old republic, it was much better place with the Jedi around. Sith dismantle things, but it pendulums back anyways.
the only benefit to making Jedi and Sith extinct if it eliminates the existence and will of the Force itself, so there is no destiny, the circle is broken, and people in the galaxy have freedom instead of puppets of the Forceās will.
it seems like if Luke is in the right of this, then they must have had some relevations that the Force itself is evil and is like a deity that has been recycling the tragedies repeated across generations, and denying all life in the galaxy true freedom. the Force symbolizes harmony and harmony is the enemy of freedom.
maybe the source of the Force itself is like that entity in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, except has almighty influence at the galactic level. and Luke believes that erasing the Jedi and Sith, which are instruments of the Force, that can begin to break the shackles the Force has on all life in that galaxy there, and they could uncover and destroy the Force at the source.
because for Luke to want the Jedi to disappear, not only means wanting the Sith to disappear, but also the Force as well.
Not feeling hype for the new trailer. The Force Awakens left a terrible taste in my mouth. Iām hopeful the Last Jedi will actually make the previous movie make more sense and fill in a lot of the plot gaps. But hopeful isnāt hype.
The finale of Rebels Season 3 wasnāt bad. Nothing like Season 2, but letās be honest itās going to be hard to top that.
Obi Wan vs. Maul was probably the lamest, most anti-hype thing Iāve seen in a long time. They go through all this effort to set this upā¦and nothing, no action, no story. It came off as lazy and a massive insult to how awesome Maul is as a character.
I dont know how Star Wars fans can even stomach the animated series types of Star Wars fanservice. it looks awful in cartoon and 3D play doh formats.
I mean itās like making Indiana Jones, Star Trek, or Kurosawaās Seven Samurai into an animated series, whether they use 3D or handdrawn, it doesnāt matter.
itās an awful, cheap, lazy, tacky and immature style. the only positive side is that it gives artists, modelers and animators a job. but it ruins Star Wars integrity and presentation standards.
Star Wars became mainstream, and the characters, story and lore had 100% impact, because it was presented live action, the most real TV shows/cinema can get.
the movies arenāt some goofy looking cartoon or play doh flick. Star Wars took itself seriously as a real galaxy and real world, and real actors/actresses with live action sets are required to meet believable reality cinema/tv standards.
if the OT/movies was like the rebels/clone wars and whatever animated series, it wouldnāt even be as insanely popular as it is, ANH probably wouldnt have even gotten a sequel out of it, it would have been just like those one and done Disney animated movies.
Gonna have to tastefully disagree with you @affinity.
Clone Wars is one the best animated series Iāve ever seen. I feel the characters and stories are actually way better than anything portrayed in any of the Star Wars movies. If the movies, especially the Prequels, were remade using the Clone Wars style with episodes being connected to an overarching epic story line, I think it would be a massive improvement.
For me, Clone Wars is the best Iāve seen Star Wars.
Was anybody else thinking Man of Steel when those little rocks floated around Rey?
Call me sexist if you want. . .
I think its hilarious that the only two people that disagree in here about the trailer or its direction for the story is two females. . . ha . . . ha . . . ha. . . . . . . .ha
well people like the animated stuff, fine. Im not saying people shouldnāt like them, its just outside the standards for some fans and not how some envision the series.
its nice they are keeping the mainline movies live action, and doing animated for the tv shows, which is effecient and win/win for both tastes.
Itās about embracing both sides of the force, unlike Jedi be righteous and pure, or Sith being just evil.
So many tragedies would be avoided if Jedis wouldnt stick to the rules as they are, but someone in the middle ground could actually save many lives, just look about all the BS Qui-Gon Jinn did in Episode I, he could simply save Anakin and mother in 1 swing, but no, his code was more important.
My take on it is not that the Jedi are necessarily wrong, but they are so dogmatic that they may have inevitably created the environment that brought their own destruction. I believe what his vision entails something similar to how Martin Luther reformed the Catholic church.
