I think itās up to the actor (or estate) to figure that out. Robin Williams put in his will that his likeness canāt be used until 25 years after his death. It could be residual income for a family for decades to come. However, I think that eventually itāll be a thing that was a thing. Someone will realize that can =/= should and will be used sparingly.
