The Tartakovsky Mini series was cool, but no one could follow up what Tartakovsky made what force wielders really could do.
It actually made Episode III worst as Mace Windu got taken out way to easily after solo bare fisting a whole droid army.
I think its more that Tartakovsky did his own thing and gave no fucks. Also Cartoon Network Didnât think the Tartakovsky Mini series would have the impact it did.
But those brain child who runs CN never showed the series again and George Lucas struck the series from cannon as soon as the CGI Clone War series came in.
At least everything else that got the ax got the ax by Disney
They didnât really ax it though, it completed naturally, right before the opening of Episode III.
Honestly, CN isnât to blame on this one. Even if they didnât think itâd be that big, they certainly advertised it for all it was worth. Chances are due to Lucas retconning the series as soon as he could, he was probably one that made the call to CN to make sure it didnât come back.
Theyâre to blame for MANY things, but I think theyâre innocent on this one.
Yeah, in fact, without watching Tartakovskyâs run, the opening of Ep 3 is kinda confusing, all things considered. Or at the very least, rushed and utterly pointless.
IMO, Lucas cut Clone Wars from the canon out of sheer jealousy.
I thought it was stupid as shit when Tartovsky or whhatevers show was struck from the record. It as liked the missed the memo about it being told on a legendary somehow got miss filed or something.
I belive if you are going to watch all the films you should watch them in Machete Order
Ep4, Ep5, Ep2, Ep3, Ep6. Note we skipped Episode 1 all together.
Way I see the films and Machete Order, it tells the Story of Luke Skywalker (not Anakin, it was never about Anakin).
Episode 7 from what I see so far is a start of a New Saga and the passing of the torch to a new generation of heroes.
With out Episodes 8 and 9 I canât say if Luke or Ray or someone else is the main focus of the new Trilogy.
