Looked up Rebels, just naw son. Looks like some bullshit but ill check it out lol. Seems theres not a lot to catch up on.

No they arenāt. This has been confirmed as of Rebels, which represents the new official continuity during the years between the original and prequel trilogies.
There were clones in 2 and 3, but 4 and beyond are set so much later. They clearly recruit people for it, even before 3.
FYI: I forgot where I read this,but J.J Abrams and the minds behind Star Wars: VII are allow to use stuff from the EU.

I donāt think that they abolished everything, just stuff that takes place after ROTJ (for obvious reasons). The Outrider is in the Special Edition version of A New Hope (albeit briefly).

I donāt care what is canon and what isnāt.
To me everything is canon that has a good story and characters, I ignore the rest.
Shadows of the Empire, Episode 4-6 and Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic are all good shit and Iāve also heard good things about the post episode 6 novel.
1-3 and all that garbage doesnāt exist to me.

So I watched a video of IGN reviewing the Star Wars Episode 7 trailer and Bruce Greene suggested something very interesting about the supposedly ācrossguardā on the lightsaber.
He says that because the lightsaber is so volatile and unstable it needs exhaust ports,so it wonāt backfire or explode on the Sith.
