Based on the interview, it implies that JJ was thinking Obi Wan, Rian went with nobody, and because we got no plan, Palpatine wins in the end.

Most of them didā¦ which is why when they tried to pander with the ārealā explanation it comes off as amateur.
Again, if you all read The Legacy Of The Force books and The Fate Of The Jedi books, you all will like them better than the sequel trilogy.

Reading the back story on this it sounds like folk have been trying to get her to add the pronouns as a show if solidarity but she has not and because of that has faced folk attacking her on social media. So she put the words in her bio instead which I donāt get how those words are insults but in either case she shouldnāt be fired over what seems like a Twitter spat over not changing her bio.
