Not too many voices besides James Earl Jones I can accept as Vader but this is a pleasantly suitable mash up.

They didnât retcon anything. It was planned from the beginning. You see Ahsoka walking away alive at the end of the original episode. The only thing the Season 4 episode did was explain how she survived.

I can understand why he would think it was a retcon. Even though she was shown surviving she didnât reappear in the show until season 4 to show how she survived. After that her next appearance was the epilogue. There some story there that needs filling.

Where do you see her walk away in the original episode? Did I miss something?
She force pushes Ezra as the door closes Kanan says letâs go Ezra you see the ship fly away as the temple explodes.
In world between worldâs Ezra watches them duel after the door closed. Eventually she does a kneel and stabs through the floor. The floor starts to crumble as Vader goes for what was probably the original kill swing as Ezra pulls her into the world between worlds.
It is a blink or you will miss it thing. Where it shows Vader leaving the ruins at the end, Ashoka is also shown walking away as well.

When Vader walks away to his ship they show the entrance and you can see Ahsoka walking away into the temple. At work canât do a proper search so about 50 seconds into this clip

I can see why KK made the choice she did for the theme parks but shaping a whole theme park land for a new set of movies would be successful if the movies were already loved by fans. She made a great amount of assumptions and it costed the parks greatly.
Eh, by nature most theme parks are for kids, so you have to do new movies to draw in a larger number of kids besides those that grew up with it from the previous movies or tv shows and had (hopefully) aged out of the impressionable stages.
The problem is that they didnât bring any new ideas, I mean they have had special effects star ship rides since the 90s at certain theme parks, what did Galaxy Edge bring when it first launched besides the canteena and building light sabers?

I stand corrected. Itâs been a minute since I watched rebels. With that said then what was the point of Ezra pulling Ahsoka into the world between worldâs?
I know she goes back through the portal or whatever to that point in time.
Even Ahsoka wouldnât have been spared by Vader. So it makes so he only left because he thought she was already gone.
It was A.) To logically show how she could survive battling what is meant to be the biggest badass in the universe. B.) It was at a point, not to get into other spoilers, Ezra needed someone to help him NOT do something. C.) Old girl is BELOVED by her creator, her actress and a ton of fans.

anyways:
the attractions have slowly started to take a backseat in theme parks in favor of merch more and more. Social media somewhat is to blame for this but as for Galaxyâs Edge. One ride in the whole land at opening which oddly enough was a more interactive but worse Star Tours. itâs the 2nd ride that was amazing. Too bad that didnât open til JanuaryâŚ7 months after the hype of the land was cooled off.

Working from home today, so I was able find time to watch thid 
Galaxyâs Edge is hands down my favorite thing at Disney World and the best thing theyâve done with the IP imho.
The attention to detail on everything is amazing, Iâd say heads and shoulders above anything else in the parks.
Even waiting in line for the rides is fun.
