Also, in the script they refer Darth Sidious as dark disciple or Sith disciple. Not Sidious or Palpatine.

Again, I really wish they used the Fate of the Jedi books as a base story line for the sequel trilogy. There’s even a book after the Fate of the Jedi series called the Crucible. They are trying to find that planet that is enclosed in a pyramid and they have that dagger, yes that dagger form The Ones or Ancient Ones!!!
Of the modern comics the best are actually Darth Vader books, with Keiron Gillen having the stand out one albeit it basically taking place in between movies.
Unlike a quality trilogy, each subsequent movie in the trilogy made it worse as whole. It makes more apparent to even those not in the know that Disney had no plan and made this shit up as they went. It’s the only trilogy in franchise without an overarching story and it shows.
He did, he used is force powers to transfer to a younger clone body, with his clone being at his physical prime. Luke goes deep undercover as Palps new apprentice to try to assassinate him.
Luke goes Dark Side, and Han and Leia tries to get him to come back to the light.
These new movies have been real eye opening. Star Wars “fans” apperantly know almost fuck all about Star Wars but wanna sit around talking about what is and isn’t trash.“Star Wars is ruined!” From a bunch of chumps who barely know about Star Wars.
The issue with the EU is that there was a lot of garbage, cough…cough…Luuke Skywalker…cough…cough, but people only cherry pick the good storylines. That said, Disney knew what those storylines were and were too stupid to adapt them. I mean for fucks sake, Dave Filoni managed to bring Thawn to Rebels successfully. That was with the constraints of a “kids show.”
Yeah, you for the casual fans that only know the movies, toys, games and some tv stuff.
There is a section of us casuals that have EU knowledge but may not give a shit and role with whatever.
Then you got the hardcore movie fans that know the movies front to back but never considered EU canon.
Then you got hardcore fans that DO consider the EU canon and hate Disney for throwing it all out to pick what they want.
And lastly the hardcore fans that DO/DID consider EU canon but don’t hate Disney because they know the EU was a cluster fuck of different stories and barely made logical sense as a unified narrative due to hundreds of creators working in the same damn pool with no heavy guidance for most of it.
All the rumor about ahsoka being in Mandalorian season 2 got me thinking. Sabine Wren(another mandalorian) was last seen leaving with Ahsoka to go look for Ezra. Anyone think she might make an appearance?
