Honestly that’s probably my favorite part about this Palpatine situation. It sounds like something you would’ve read in fanfiction.net and then e-mailed to people back in 04 to have a laugh at it.
Its just so hilariously bad. I almost want a Star Wars movie solely about it to see if they can make it not flaming hot ass.
Snoke being a mangled Darth Plagueis that barely survived Palpatine’s treachery and bided his time to grasp power sounds better than a failed clone puppet but to each his own. Not saying I was huge fan of the Plagueis theory but at least it was a solid base hit. What we got sounds like something I would have come up with while goofing off with my friends in 3rd grade.
Edit: Reminds me of the Decapre USFIV reveal. Fans kicked around a lot of nonsense but then Capcom released what we joked around it would be in passing day one, while insisting that we’d never guess who the character was.

Snoke should’ve been a Vader clone. Looks fucked up because he survived a lightning blast from Palpatine by using the dark side. This made Palpatine deem him fit (obvs in the backgrou d of RoTJ).
But my Snoke theory sucks. Snoke is just a regular ass sith kept in a pickle jar.

Based on what has been released. Palpatine is failed clone of Palpatine. Snoke is failed clone of Palpatine. Palpatine’s son is a failed clone of Palpatine and Rey is Palpatine’s daughter/granddaughter. It can’t get much worse than that. I mean you could come up with something worse, but it would require a herculean effort to surprass the steaming pile of garbage we ended up with.
TLDR: Disney was handing out failed Palpatine clones like Oprah was handing out cars.

Your joke raises a decent question tho. Why are the clones failing? Is it because of the lack Kaminoans? Do they have access to Palps original body or are they cloning his clones? That would be an explination.

I seeing it as fucked over as Palpatine’s body is, his DNA is also damaged and can’t produce viable clones. Because if Palpatine can clone his body, he wouldn’t need Rey’s Body.
