Yeah as everyone has stated, the Mandalorian is a “Foundling”. Mandalorians rescue battlefield orphans and they can choose to follow the Mandalorian code. Din Djarin is one of those type of Mandalorians. Mandalorians are more of creed than a race.
Ok answers didn’t help just led to more confusion.I thought death watch gave zero fucks about anything not related to the mandalore system so why would they be off world/system helping against the seperatists?
The planet Mando/Din is from is unspecified, iirc. It could be in the Mandalore system. Also the mandalore army is constantly at the brink of or is in an ongoing civil war.
Not all of them are bag of dicks extremists.
Also, at the end of the one of the seasons of clone wars animated Mandalore becomes republic occupied Which just invites the Separatists to invade
It’s not a purely magnanimous trait. Taking in orphans helps them build up their numbers. Mandalorians are constantly putting themselves in harms way. A child is basically a blank slate for them to mold.
Yea, they take in foundlings to help keep the ranks up because their “business” is dangerous and kills many of them regularly.
Books aren’t canon, but the books are referenced in enough canon materials to make the most of the plot still canon
Actually, Padme prevents this from happening as Mandalore becoming Republic occupied would be seen as an act of war and it would give Death Watch the opening they need to overthrow the pacifist government. It still remains neutral when Maul takes over.
Oh? I don’t remember this.
Not saying you’re wrong. Just saying I don’t remember
I don’t recall a republic occupation of mandalore either. The only occupation would be the siege which was not been depicted yet
Republic occupation was discussed in one of the senate focused episodes. IIRC, the one where Obi-Wan’s girl goes to Coruscant and defends the Mandalore system neutrality.
I’m talking about the episode where Satine is murdered and her sister asks Obiwan for republic aid to stop Maul and the extremists of Death Watch that remained by his side after he murdered Vizsla in a duel.
Obi wan even says if he does than Mandalore will become allied with the republic and she said she knows what the republic reinforcements mean for Mandalore
Edit: Season 5 Episode 16 “The Lawless” is the episode and events I’m referring to
Ok, that’s the story you were talking about. The reenforcements showed up in the sequel story Son of Dathomir which sadly became a comic when the show got cancelled.
This is the way
All I know about Mandalorians is that according to one of thoose goofy letter of your last name/birth month things I am a Mandalorian Jedi.
I get dope Boba Fett armor and lightsabers. All of you guys can suck my nuts.
Funny thing is because of Jaggo, Bobba isnt a real Mandalorian.
Jaggo got nice shiny armor, and it’s a step up from clone trooper armor. But it’s not Mandalorian armor, it is a cheap knock off of Mandalorian armor.
The armor we saw the Mando wear in the Mandalorian and Sabine wore in Rebels is the real deal.
Jango…
The D is silent.
Excuse me sir but that goofy FB thing said Im a bad ass and thats all I need to know.
You can’t believe Mandolarians when it comes to their own kind. They view anyone who doesn’t share their clans beliefs to be a traitor. Jango is a Mando, fuck what they say.
Jango is the GOAT absentee father in all of fiction. Dude made millions of children and goth imself killed to dodge all the necessary child support.
True inspiration.
Speaking of the Mandalorian. Boba Fett is portrayed well in the Legacy of the Force books and the Fate of the Jedi books. If you hated the sequel trilogy then read those 18 books (yes each arc has 9 books each). Those 2 arcs are even better than prequel and most of original trilogy!!!
