Force Ghosts are probably the weirdest thing about Star Wars. They only show up in times of personal turmoil to guide Jedis through it not to help prevent anything. Maybe theyâre just knowledge restricted in some ways.
Wtf were Yoda, Obi and Anakin doing while Luke was feeling like shit for 15 yeas in Lonely island planet is the real question.

Thatâs right, he cut himself off from the force so the ghosts wouldnât be able to reach him. At no point did none of those 3 ghosts tell the lizard people to tell Luke to turn on his Forcephone on and stop being a bitch about it.

Jedi Ghost Chat requires at least a 4G connection. Probably every time they tried, they were buffering due to weak connections.

From a point of reference, it makes sense. BBY was because of the pinnacle moment between the Empire and the Rebel alliance. Starkiller was a flashpoint for the battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Since Star Wars doesnât have stardate or some measure of time (outside of standard years) the Battle of Yavin (BY) has been the point in Star Wars history that everything was judged from. Now Disney is considering using the Starkiller incident in The Force Awakens as that point.
Itâs only a difference of about 30 years. I honestly donât give a shit, but I am sure Mauler will put up a 6 hr tirade about it.

I want to subscribe just to see if it happens, but then the algorithm would put so much BS in my feed.
Right now I got a good mix of anime, woodworking, and honest critiques of media that I consume. I donât need that in my life LOL.
Not sure if any of you are familiar with the YT Channel âHelloGreedoâ but he may be one of my favorite SW commentators on YT. Heâs much more measured than a lot of the others out there. Two vids of his come to mind, one about âRuined Star Warsâ and âNot liking SWâ

Force ghosts can also show up to warn. In the Clone Wars cartoon Qui-Gon Jinn force ghost appears to warn both Obi Wan and Anakin about the incarnations of the force. Anakin force ghost could have appeared before Luke and told him all that shit.
I think at this point fans that have watched experienced the different media should get that aside from Empire, most of the TV and I will throw in the Marvel Vader comics as well are better written then the Star Wars films. Most the films are still very good but what most donât like to admit the seat of your pants story telling isnât new to the franchise.

The franchise has so many different avenues it can go, as long as they donât fuck up with multiple examples cheap bullshit (didnât tank the MCU but The Inhumans is the best example of a fuck up) the franchise should thrive.
