I would have preferred another entry in the Jedi Knight series. Jedi Outkast/Academy = god tier. 1v1 Lightsaber duels were too good.
And the fact that this isn’t coming out for the PC irks me.

i’m mostly interested in the prospects for a sandbox mode. they’re combining a couple of engines (euphoria, DMM, and Havok, i think) which should make for interesting situations.
you can download endorphin and run your own euphoria-type animations from the naturalmotion website
as for the game itself? i hope they don’t mess it up - they have a lot of interesting technology, but let’s hope that it doesn’t get in the way of a good campaign and solid gameplay. this better not end up being a 4 hour tech demo
I’m more than sure a port of the next-gen versions will indeed be released later down the line.
Force Unleashed looks good, gotta admit. I’m normally wary of Star Wars games, as while there have been gems there also have been real bombs. But Force Unleashed looks really good so far.
I’m thinking either XB360 or PS3 version for me. I don’t like the Wii’s unique method of playing games for anything other than Mario Galaxy or WarioWare.
If that’s not the most bullshit excuse I’ve ever heard in my life. I just lost much respect for LucasArts. In order words; “We are too fucking lazy so we are just going to sprout off this crap”. How about you do like every other respectable developer and put some effort into the port? Make it scalable so that everyone can enjoy it?

The bullshit excuse alone is making me reconsider buying the game.
It does concern me (or more so, my taste). Any console driven experience is always watered down from what it could be on PC and as a loyal Jedi Knight fan/player, I will not roll over and accept this. That excuse is simply beyond pathetic for not bringing it to the PC.
I was fully content and excited to play it on consoles. Is it trivial? Maybe.
If they would have said “we have no interest in bringing it to the PC at this time”, I would not have cared. But in the past, having been asked about bringing the game to PC, they “hinted” that they would consider it and I’m almost certain one spokesperson said they would.
Their reason would’ve been a lot better if they didn’t also have a Wii version. 
I can totally see where they’re going with it, though. Crysis was basically just a screenshot gallery on my PC. I highly doubt that that’s what the creators intended me to play.
i dont buy their excuse either. pc gamers are a different breed from strict console gamers. pc gamers either buy all the latest shit so that every game looks and runs perfect OR they go all out on one system, and adjust their settings as games begin to demand more. nonetheless, theyll play the game on lower settings simply because they find the gameplay good enough to sacrifice some picture.
fuck- i played cs at 320x240 on 56k. that actually transitioned over well when i played on broadband because playing on low bandwidth meant either reacting super quickly or expecting people in certain areas.
i also played jedi knight 1 on my pentium1 at 400x300 and still loved the game.
also, is it that hard for developers to transition code from xbox to pc?
my guess is they know a game released on pc will go straight to torrent and so theyd rather force someone to go the console route.

I will probably buy it but I am severely disappointed it is not on PC. The Jedi Knight games were some of the best FPSs and Star Wars games (alongside KOTOR, the “Super” series, Rogue Squadron/Leader, Xwing/TieFighter, and SWT: Arcade). All of the Star Wars games that were multi platform were best on PC.
As if it wasn’t already fail enough.
