ok seriously how the fuck do you do anything in this ‘game’?
I got a hangar, but it’s empty. I go back to the main website and put a ship into my hangar, and reload the game, and I got an empty hangar still.
No clue how to do flight sims, go anywhere that isn’t the fucking empty hangar, how to do dogfights, or anything that doesn’t involve occasionally falling through the map.
my current experience right now: “oh hey look, that wall is kinda pretty…oh hey look, a door that goes nowhere yet.”
Seriously, all I have is an empty hangar simulator. No ships in my hangar. I go to a little backroom that leads to an elevator that leads to SORRY THE SERVER IS FULL.
There is also a little chair device in one corner of the hangar, and I can sit in it and it gives me the option to pick either Arena Commander, or some other nonsense, but both of these two options are greyed out, I’m assuming because I have no fucking ship. The literal closest I came to this being a space sim, was when I fell through the floor, and ended up outside the hangar, forever falling until I had to close the game and restart to get back into my empty hangar.
So yeah, I can’t access a single part of this game, except for a giant empty room that looks really nice. Can’t even see my ship (you have to go to their website, and assign your ships to your hangars, which I’ve done, yet nothing has happened since I did that).
Yea, was looking into this but honestly can’t see one reason why I should put any time or money into this game right now if ever… not saying it won’t be a great game at some point, just with the amount of cash it takes just to buy a ship I’m not sure that wormhole is something I want to traverse. Oh well there’s always no mans sky
basic game costs $45 USD, and you get one of two ships to choose from, but everybody else seems to be paying hundreds of dollars for entire fucking fleets. Seen a few dudes who already spent over a grand on the game.
I wouldn’t know, I only know what the hangar sounds like.
I finally got an e-mail from the dev’s about my issues, asking me what ship and hangar I have. Like, can’t you look at that shit yourself?
I asked for a refund. Gonna pick this up when I have more cash to throw at it.
I would agree, if it wasn’t for the talent involved. Have you even seen the voice actors involved?
you do know that I tried that? Option was greyed out. When I tell you ALL THAT I COULD DO IS WALK AROUND AN EMPTY HANGAR, I wasn’t being sarcastic. It’s apparently an issue that’s popped up recently and the dev’s are looking into it. Been getting tons of emails asking me for info (dxdiag, etc) to help them fix the issue.
I’m willing to bet they fucked up how the two new entry packages work.
Still seems like a ponzi scheme, it is almost the definition of pay to win and they keep “promising” a bunch of shit that hasn’t been delivered on in 3 years while holding more donation drives for future shit they promise when they have never even got to the initial shit they promised.
There is a 15,000 package you can buy lol. For the suckers who spent that bread I hope it ain’t a Ponzi scheme. That type of money make you show up to he head quarters masked up ready for answers
I think the way they’re asking for shit that isn’t even fully fleshed out yet, is a little scummy. I’ll wait to see the final product, however. The prices for ships is ludicrous. I’d hate to pre-order the game now (like I did), and find out my ship is INSTANTLY useless the moment the full game goes live.
But the money they’re getting is legit going towards crazy shit. The voice actors alone ain’t coming along cheap. I doubt Gary Oldman is doing this for free.
they have a statement on their terms of service stating they’ll refund anything within 14 days, and I bought it literally one day earlier. I doubt they’re gonna rip me off for 40 bucks.
They’re also adding mad amounts of shit. FPS parts come next, from what I’ve read.
