Lol the scatter gimlet stuff is cool, but I started experimenting with that stuff a while ago and I realized that the initial arrow shot upwards causes a soft knockdown along with the arrows it breaks up into. So in the corner you can S xx Scatter shot > S xx Scatter shot > S > whatever combo you want. I’ve only been able to get 2 reps of it but, the concept seems really cool

You should be able to do extended BnB into OTG Poison Arrow xx (slight delay) Gimlet xx UWT.

We’ve all seen chris g use cr.:l::m: slide xx ryu assist xx poison arrow and continue on but some of you aren’t using a tatsu. I have iron fist on my team so cr.:l::m: slidexxrising fang assistxxpoison arrow slide :s: air :m::m::h::s: :h: trick into ice arrow slide :s: air :m::m::h::s: :l: trick into poison arrow gimlet. Gets you 2 poisons and does 566k (573k if IF has red chi on) without the poison. Almost 750k (unconfirmed but does 1 shot raccoon after all the poison takes place) with poison.
Not the most impressive combo but shows off how much more hawkeye can do with an assist.

hawkeye xf3/2 1 meter combos. guaranteed kill on everyone off everything in xf3, xf2 is still sick damage but won’t kill people above 1.15mil

Does Hawkeye have any other B&Bs beside the Ice Arrow relaunch?

He can do stuff with fd.:m: and in xfactor he has other launchers but Ice Arrow is most efficient.

Good shit bro, Im running hawkeye on anchor so these will definitely come in handy in the future. Gonna have to practice these and my incoming character mix-ups(if hawkeye has any) to make my anchor hawkeye terrifying.

On a different note, other than the net arrow loop, does hawkeye have any other full screen combos? Im tryna work on the arrow loop, but that shit ain’t easy.

Finally, how do you guys feel about ending combos with hypers with hawkeye? They don’t seem to add a lot of damage overall(gimlet does less than 100k at the end of a long combo). I usually just end with a poison arrow and back dash to continue my zoning.

I gimlet to finish or put them in chip range. With thor I only gimlet on my second combo.

Hey guys been a long lurker finally posting. Been using hawkeye since pretty early on. Just started a nice little zoning team with Hawkeye (Kamikaze) / Chris (Gunfire) / Dormammu (Dark hole). My double poison combo so far has been slide -> launch -> j.MMHS -> assist 1 (chris) -> qcb. H add L (poison arrow) -> s.S. -> j.MMHS -> assist 2 (dark hole) -> qcb.H add H (sting shot) -> qcb.L add L (poison arrow) -> Gimlet.

Been doing pretty decent damage in practice (looks like 6-700k ish, hard to tell actual number for me). Another neat thing is the fact that dark hole keeps them up long enough for two arrows from trick maneuvers which is a lot of fun. Another fun and stylish way to finish an opponent with Hawk/Dorm is to finish a combo is

assist (Dark hole) -> fwd. M -> triple arrow -> gimlet -> XFC -> tag team special. It has only been described as swag.

For this whole launch scatter shot deal…what is the trick to doing it properly? My shoryu never comes out and I end up just launching them in the air with no reason, heh.

You have to jump cancel the :s:, but cancel the jump into the scatter shot, so your input looks something like :s: :uf: :dp: :m:. I think you can tk is aswell, but Im not 100.

Yes tiger knee motion (2369 or 23698) works too.
I’m statring to play Hawkey more frequently, he is fun to play, but I struggling finding good incoming setups.
In find myself never using Gimlet If I don’t have kill potential whith dhc, I prefer to keep my meter for keep away raw gimlet.

Does anyone has come up with someting interesting ? with beam assists or whaterver ?

Currently I call dorm purification early to force them to block and lock them in the corner while I empty jump into throw or tick throw just after they leave block stun.
It’s not optimal as if they attack while coming in they’ll get hit by the pillar and the only thing I will bet able to get is gimlet.
If I suspect they 'll attack I pillars and catch them with jmp H net arrow into loop after the pillar hit.

If also found it’s possible to call pillar then 214M under them to make the pillar cross them up then tag them with jmp H net arrow into loop after the pillar hit. Its a lot better but is pretty strict on the timing/distance.

I guess that against character who don’t have air mobility you can do some setups with exploding arrow where they fal then tick them with M into 214H frozen arrow + assist

Thanks guys, I figured out HOW to do the input, just need to get better at executing it.

Chibi, my zone team is Hawk(grey hound)/Chris(gun fire)/Dorm(dark hole)…I basically use gun fire + s.H cancelled into scatter or triple piercing to control the screen and mix with your standard s.H -> qcf.L or j.H into triple arrow, etc. Gun fire works pretty well as it lasts a decent while and they can’t really it, the only downfall is it is somewhat slow. I WOULD use pillar if it weren’t for how much I love to use Dark hole into poison arrow + sting shot + gimlet combo finishers with Hawk.

So um whats the best combo after he forward and back throws. Also for back throws I try to otg with trick into ice arrow but it never otgs.

After back throw, you need to dash, and cancel that dash into ice arrow. Forward throw, I don’t think you can get anything midscreen, but in the corner, you can do h~net arrow twice, qcb L ice arrow, slide, launch, mmhs, poison, gimlet. As Hawkeye anchor you can corner grab and after confirming the net arrow, xfc3, you can loop another 9 times, then launch, bnb, arrow for around 1 mil.

Ive been playing a shit ton of Hawkeye and yet still cant figure this answer out (and was the one question stryder1587 asked me where I had to respond “i dunno”): Does Hawkeye have any way to convert an air-to-air jH at any height? Ive tried delaying my jS after as much as possible but still no luck. Maybe at very low altitudes. Anything we can do in this situation? Or do we just accept that jH is merely a godlike solo shot?

In particular I’m toying now with a Hawkeye Dorm Mag idea, and trying Purification assist for Dorm to kinda mimick the Jam Session which is so beautiful for Hawk. Even if a low-to-the-ground jH can lead to a combo(can it?? lol), it’s probably asking a bit much to expect a combo off a landed pillar assist. Maaaayyybe a well timed DP+M to try to get a ground bounce, but I’m not terribly optimistic. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Lol I’m just guessing on this but did you ever try j.h into net arrow :qcf::m:. I have no idea if it works because the net arrow most likely wont connect but if it does it causes a bounce and you can slide after that. Sorry if I didn’t get your question or it doesn’t work just seems like a good idea.

Well from regular jump height Im pretty sure you can cancel it into the net arrow and get a full combo when you hit the ground. From super jump height though, I don’t really think hawkeye can do much other than j.:h: :qcf::l: gimlet.

Yea, you can cancel into net arrow but you can’t hit confirm the jH then cancel, it won’t combo that way. You pretty much have to throw out jH xx net arrows and hope they get caught by the jH. I’m not sure how unsafe a whiffed or blocked net arrow is though. Can they block, land, sL and a get a combo on us?

Does anybody have any throw setups? Since I’m running Hawk anchor, my only major weakness is if they counter xfc and turtle from all the chip damage. Amongst the qcb L, M or H, which has the least recovery? I’m thinking I can do that, tick with a c.L or two, then go for a grab.
