Stages you want to see return OR new stages you'd like to see

If that stage is supposed to be King’s Cross, then the stage interaction should be the character going through a hidden entrance into platform 9 3/4.

If not, then:

I just wanna see Sagat’s SF2 stage again…

Just seen Ryu’s stage in Smash

I like the lying Buddha.

I like the idea of this deity that sort of represents peace through balance watching over a match of Street Fighter.

I’m also a fan of several of the 2I stages. Transitioning between stages gives you a feeling of fighting in very different eras and or cultures, like a true world warrior. eg. Ken’s Harbour stage vs Hugo’s Harbour stage.

Many of the stages are memorable not just for their appearance but also their BGMS.

I’d like to see something like Ryu’s NG/2I stage or Ken’s A2 stage where you had a bunch of non-SF Capcom cameos in the background.

A forest at night, with a few woodland creatures witnessing the fight. Nothing outlandish like a fucking bear just sitting there not killing anything or a bunch of deer doing backflips. I’m imagining a solemn setting. The transition is a small fire being sparked by the action of the players(maybe two projectiles clashing) which causes the animals to run away. The fire slowly spreads to the point that by the third round the horizon is ablaze.

A casino transitioning to the Las Vegas strip.

Hey! That’s the Australian stage. I tweeted Ono asking for it a while back and he retweeted it saying he would tell the SF director (this was before 5 though I asked it for Ultra)
So I am really hopeful for it + maybe a new Australian character

I like many of the 2I and A2 stages more than 3S and A3.

The current stages in SFV suck big time. I hope Capcom thinks straight and puts in some decent ones at least.

I was thinking -almost- the contrary actually

Sure, none of the 2 seen is GREAT, but both have the right real world/nation feel i was hoping to see return… and judging from artworks also Ryu’s and Charlie’s are going to be good in that sense

If they keep that design logic SF will recover his “world tour” feeling, and honestly i’m very happy about that

Also Chinese stage triple interaction (restaurant, noodles, bus) is fun and cool, and i suspect London one being an early version that may get some too (maybe they end up in a tunnel like in Birdie’s artwork?)

No, we won’t. Backgrounds like those are what defines the characters, what identifies them greatly (as well as the music that goes along with them).

Capcom took the lazy route with SF IV. Hopefully, they’ll learn that with SF V.

I’d say the ST Bath house stage could look really good. Bust people through walls and into the sauna.

I

We could a stage like if it is on Mel Masters birthday with him and Eliza cheering for him

Tell me some of those places wouldn’t make AMAZING stages.

I’m really into nostalgic stages with alot of crowd and those that are iconic in the franchise

I’m writing my list for the “Best of wanted improvements for SFV to send to Capcom Unity” thread

I’ve just had an idea

-custom stage mode. Like you can chose moment of the day, graphic filter, set pieces and characters, chose the music (from a list that contain all SFA/2/3/4 ones).
Give it clear limits so as memory is ever light/even lighter than normal stages, it just need to be loaded few seconds before the match.
As for char color edit, option for the host to disable it online.

-3/5/10 slots for that, and option to download cool ones you face online, maybe have an online gallery where you can download (basically just copy) the best ones.

This will be so fucking refreshing for me

@SideshowRob The one with the thing that looks like fireflies would especially be amazing.

needs more nostalgia, interactive (chunli sfv stage) and cameo

@SideshowRob I like the last one because it’s a perfect place for the final boss
