Just to clarify, I didn’t mean that all tourneys be $ entry. We usually have time for 2-3 tournaments or more anyways. I wanted to gauge interest in having one “serious” tourney.

So I happened to be playing ST Bison on AE for the PS2, and I was able to do his combos on the first try, because I wasn’t playing at break neck speeds. I’m glad CCC is not being used anymore.
Input lag sucked donkey balls. I remember pointing out to Beasley how odd it was that I had to input Chun’s l.roundhouse before her l.forward’s animation finished. Guess it wasn’t ST that was quirky, just CCC2.
That aside, I kinda liked the higher speeds. Even CCC2’s speeds felt sedated in contrast to most modern games. I’m on a ~2 month break from Marvel now, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to think at that pace again. It doesn’t help that I’ve only been playing ST and nothing else.
Julian, post to let us know that you saw this update. Don’t make me have to call you, cuz I’m not sure if I’ll be home tomorrow.
if someone can bring a modded Xbox, I’d like to be able to see how good ST is on that. We might want to make that the console version of choice…

Hmm, I have tons of shit to do today. Most of it being some mexi-labor type shit, like painting and repairing sheet rock. My paint lines come out like some pro level type shit, and I don’t even do this for a living. I guess these mexi-genes are good for random ass manual labor.
With regards to the xbox, I have it all plus adapters. All the neo geo roms and cps2 roms you could want; we would probably end up playing rainbow edition, world heroes, and Samurai shodown by the end of the night. IF I can make it I will bring it so we can compare the emulated version to the actual arcade board. I will call the man of the house later to inform him of my arrival, or lack there of.
