There may be a stick I can borrow for the console setup. I don’t really like it, but it’s something if people are really trying to play on the ps2.
SF anniversary stick all day every day. Seriously, its probably the one I will take for evo that I can use for both marvel, 3s, and ST. I don’t like jap sticks.

It sucks because for some things I am better at Japanese sticks, and others American. Fireball/DP is WAYYY easier to me on American sticks without the square gate. But tap combos and almost everything else is leagues better on Japanese.
So I’ll be comming tommorow for sure…gotta get practice in tonight.
If Julian gets the pink sentinel, can I lay claim to your Tekken stick? This’ll be like a hostile takeover. Or a fire sale. Just how many arcade sticks do you have? Functioning, that is.

What are you suggesting that I do? You distract him with your feminine wiles and I steal the pink sentinel? This is fun, we should annex and divide up all of Pablo’s belongings. If only he were a polygamist.
Actually, I was hoping to have a Japanese style stick to use for slower games like ST and VF. They’re far easier to use for less motion intensive games. They’re also easier if you want to go from corner to corner (while playing Boxer or other charge characters). Is it possible to swap out art for HORI sticks? Or would that be a pain?

Very good session fellas. Good games all across the board. The first team tourney was pretty damn epic. The White Lotus yet again has proven that the almighty teachings of the Great Elder Yi Jianlian of the Xiao Mei shrine are simply too powerful. It was in those teachings we learned “when one disciple falls, another shall rise…”

Anyway, very good games kinda a shame they weren’t recorded. Season two is definitely gonna be interesting to witness. I was pretty impressed with JULIAN/AIRTHROW today. He was playing pretty damn good. I think the first thing he said to me today was “You’re gonna lose top 3 next season buddy!” He’s tight for that one. Can’t wait for the next ST outing. The highlight for me was watching Nate watch Shaolin Monk videos.
2 weeks ago, people were distracted with DOA vids. This time, it was MK, KI, and Primal Rage combo vids. Are you serious? You’d rather watch Killer Instinct combo videos than focus on an ST match? It’s Killer Instinct. Every match is a combo video.
The demon bunny Fatality as an ode to Monty Python was pretty amusing, though.
Also Alex came back after I beat him pretty bad the first time to edge me out the second time, I think he’s been hanging out with Pablo and wearing Loc’s cus that was heart straight from mehhikoe.
I was intending to debut my lime green Ryu last night, but I can barely do anything, I think cus I learned how to fireball/DP on American sticks… I would be insane with rushdown and zoning but I uhhhh, can’t do any moves so I will just stick with my easy dial-a-damage always get your move character Balrog.

Hopefully you can fully adjust to playing on console. My Tekken 5 stick is decent, but what makes it nice is that it has good sized case. It is big enough to play on the floor, and small enough to still be practical while used in your lap.
Don’t know if you have noticed, but Evo is nothing more than a bunch of busters playing games on the floor, or in a chair with a stick in their lap. Ever since I was confirmed for Evo, I started playing on the floor. I usually set my sticks on those tv dinner type tables, but I sure as hell won’t have one of those available to me when the time comes.
