HOLY SHIT. Sir Julius, this is incredible. You should link this up with super-turbo.net. Shit is so serious. I love seeing my stats in a graph, that is bad ass.
Awesome.
I think the player list should sort by ranking by default, rather than name, or at least make the first click of “Ranking” sort by highest to lowest
thats just me being picky though, this is great stuff
super-turbo.net would welcome any sort of integration you would like
edit: also, when I try to view a good portion of the brackets, I get an error:
"Application error (Apache)
Change this error message for exceptions thrown outside of an action (like in Dispatcher setups or broken Ruby code) in public/500.html"
It should sort by ranking by default. For sure.
the errors on the brackets should be fixed now. Thanks for your feedback, I’ll see what I can do.
Now we must have more tournaments, and MORE DATA!
MOORRRRRREE!
Thinking of hosting a sesh on thursday, I’ll be glad to give you Dat Resultz from our super awesome random select mikado tourney that HAS to happen again or nobody can come over. (Or we could do something real, too, I guess, but half our good players don’t come to my house… ) HINT HINT GUYS I promise there’s no molestation or anything! You’re not my type any of you! :wgrin:
EDIT: Ooh, is there a way we could get a purely Seattle-area filter? I personally don’t like having all these random ass names who I’ll never play and never care to compare myself to, japanese or not, though I know others like to compare themselves to the players so I won’t go so far as to say take them out or anything. If that’s not too much work that’d be cool.
Didn’t realize you could just click ranking to order it, but I agree that first click should do highest to lowest, even though that is definitely nitpicking
I like how the beginning of my graph is all ups and downs before smoothing out. Those were the days, where the only thing consistent, was inconsistency.
This is a good idea. I’ll look into it.
I will also look into having the default sort be by rank, as well as adding mu and sigma to the sorts.
When are the new rankings coming up? I’m curious what my new level will be. I probably gained levels losing to Nate and Julian.
