the post above mine is hella gay.
What’s Portland’s team again? I remember SamY telling me that they’d already formed one. I think Julien said that he would wait until the day of the tournament to see who from Seattle actually attended before deciding what possible team to form.
I believe the tentative team was RayBladeX, fatbear, #1geesemaster, Jetay, and @js, but we need Ray’s input on this. And if I didn’t make it clear before, I’m giving the power of final decision to zass when it comes to the seattle team.
Anyway, I was thinking about this after I last posted and I think we should definitely stick to the original 5v5 plan. No need to change a hyped event at the last minute, that would be lame of me.
round robin would be good if you had a projector or something to keep track of the scores so everyone could see it
but I’m fine with either!
Is this going to get recorded?
Of course it will be recorded. If we’re lucky, we’ll be able to have all final 8 matches as well as the special events up on the big projection screen (like at evo.) If we’re even luckier, we should be able to switch between the game and a score sheet/brackets for whatever.
Switching between the game and scores would be awesome, but I guess it’s not needed
if we did round robin, would it be best out of 3 for each match? are we to stick with one character throughout the whole round robin (I’d prefer this)
I would imagine that the number of games per match-up in the round robin will also be heavily influenced by time constraints. But I’d also prefer to see players bound to a single character for the duration of a round robin, and a single iteration of a character per team. It keeps counter picking out of the equation.
