yea guy better be faster like el fuerte or else I fear guy will really suk… adon is definetly going to be good. He’s probably gonna be top tier for sure.
Seems like Cody’s jump is even faster than Guys! Guy is like floating in the air . Wassup with that. You can AA that jump like all the time hah
His EX shlder attack was super fast. I wonder if guy can build meter very quick.
Guy spinning hurricane kick seems just to go more straight up than before. It used to go in a 45 degree angle (probably lk, mk, and hk selects the angle).
I still love playing Alpha 2 and 3 on GGPO. So if he’s not that good on SFIV, im not too worried ( i think hah)
Just by eying the damage he was taking, seems like he has a bit less than 1000 to me, 900-950 range probably.
His jump was always floaty…course, in Alpha there was air block so it wasn’t much of a big deal. But yeah, his walk seems oddly slow. Hopefully he won’t have to walk much if they don’t speed it up.
That’s what I’m thinking since he has a command run, his walking speed won’t be so good. So hopefully his dashes make up for it. Looks like he’ll have some A3 chains too. He has his close lk from A3 back. Far HP looks like it does good damage. His sweep slide looks kind of slow and now it knocks down. I dunno if that’s good or bad.
Outside of that–Guy does look like he’ll have some speed. He does have Close Stand Short so at least he should technically be able to do Bushin Chains from the Stand Short. EX Houzanto looks super slow, though. EX Bushin Kick has good startup and Crouch RH seems fast. All in all, just would like to see more footage to work with. More like he should be able to Kara throw from Toward+Strong Punch–cause his throw range looked like it sucked or the person did it too fast in front of its opponent.
We definately need to see his dash and command run, because that is probably the reason for the slow walk speed. His jump does seem very slow though. I really hope he can juggle his ultra off of something.
I think my comparisons to Fuerte are over. His floaty jump might just be a massive crutch for him that and his walk speed. I think it may be enough grounds to make his Command Run have an instant stop like Fuerte’s
His super is Hassouken, so considering the launching properties of his chain we’ve already seen, you will fear those jabs when Guy has full meter. :wgrin: Well, unless it gets scaled to hell.
Guy was looking pretty decent in the stream this morning. His run was ungodly fast. unfortunately, the folks playing sucked ass, so we didn’t get to see a lot of good play. Just a bunch of j.hk, c.hk and hail mary ultras. One Guy player activated his ultra full screen. WTF?
