It’d be nice if EX bushin flip was like Gen’s EX Oga.
I’m assuming you are referring to it’s invincibility?
Also, Lol Valkyrie Profile ftw
That’s the point, they’re talking about adapting Guy’s run to be more like Fuerte’s. With Guy the strength of the kick button you use determines stop/slide/jump kick and you press it to initiate run and again to do the move.
I think like what Capcom did with HDR before the release of SFIV, they will release Alpha Max 3 for PSN with Online compatibility
i want ex bushin flip to go faster… grab crouchers… and slam them hard on the ground with a juggle opportunity!! i think that would be decent.
ggpo…

ok… I’m confused about Guy’s new move “Rolling Izuna Drop”… didn’t he have an Izuna Drop before? Is this a new air throw? O_o
from the looks of it i think he spins like in his ultra so maybe its an air throw of sorts
It’s probably just like Maki’s HCF+P thing she had in the air. She does that izuna drop.
The video showed the “rolling” one was his ultra. I’m sure his air grab is the same thing it was in the Alphas.
Who does a DP on wakeup reversal? I haven’t seen that in any SF4 match ever, so I doubt someone would think it’s a good idea in SSF4. And of course if something is expected someone would try to counter it. If someone was going to counter my wakeup with a DP and I expected it, I would block and punish.
She does a wall slam then a izuna drop, but no rolling. I hope guy has good anti air, a strong point in Alpha 2 was that he could cancel a c.mp or s.lp into a hk hurricane for a juggle as anti air. SF4’s system doesnt allow for that, so unless he has some dope anti-air, he might be in trouble, and EX hurricane won’t solve anything cause then you are forced to build meter.
Someone earlier asked about his wake up options, mk hurricane had invincibility in older games vs ground attacks. Lk version was great for avoiding fireballs.
Well, there’s CFE…
Here is my new and latest Super SF4 Mega Man-inspired Guy sprite!

There’s no reason a move simply can’t be programmed to put the opponent in a Juggle state rather than reset them. Plenty of moves in SF4 already do so.
Well as it stands now, no standing normals put opponents in juggle states, so while it’s not impossible, the track record isn’t helping.
I think you’re forgetting Rufus’ roundhouse…
I’m excited to see more news about Guy (the developer blog), but now we’re going to be deprived of info about him for a month plus, and we still have virtually no idea how he plays. It needs to be March already.
Plus, whenever the press inevitably gets their hands on him, they’re not going to know anything about his chain combos, and will instead just do jumping roundhouse to crouching roundhouse.
I seriously want to see someone capable doing at least some basic shit with these new characters.
Abel’s crouching fierce is not a standing move, but it is a grounded move, so I think it counts.
Alternatively, they could just make Bushin Senpu a decent anti-air in it’s own right :looney:
