Check out Strider vs. Juicebox for the Abel mirror. Strider is reset heavy while Juicebox plays a little more conventionally. It’s a good match that shows two different ways to play Abel.

801 strider vs Dark Jiewda (ken) has alot of phenomenal footwork from Abel
Let’s take a closer looks at specific points in the match.

0:15; anti air, delayed forward dash to punish Ken’s backdash
*after cod= One dash, lk whiff -> Empty Step kick
Dash forward and step kick punish the preemptive backdash again!

Sets a great tone, definitely making Ken afraid to backdash.

Same scenario
Anti-air
PAUSE * as the opponent was expecting the same scenario twice
Empty step kick -> whiffed, mashed DP

Abel whiffed a full Focus attack
Ken punishes with an Ex Tatsu and neutral jumps in fear of a reversal command grab which DID happen in the previous game

Although Strider doesn’t follow up with a combo, Ken takes the bait; whiffs a standing throw and take a step kick right to the chest.
