The sound tracks in SSFIIHD is amazing. Will they consider releasing it or is there a place I can get it from?
Alot of the album is from Blood on the Asphalt but not all of it. I wonder if Capcom put up an actual list of what music they used, be it all OCRemix or other pieces from places.

Music in the game is dat fire. But I speak with bias, just cause I spent hours on end listening to Blood on the Asphalt.
Vega’s Spittin Narcissism was crack on Blood on the Asphalt and it’s crack in game. Also love Balrog’s Sexy Trunks and Cammy’s Army Girl.

I loved ocremix for a long time. Hell i submitted to them a LONG ass time ago… but I think this soundtrack is no good
btw the ryu remix that they play in the menus gets me pumped, why can’t all the songs be like that

The new music is great, but not for a fighting game. Sorry, but this new music just doesn’t bring the hype. Most of them sound too mellowed out. One song that comes to mind is Boxer’s stage. The old one has that hype that just pumps you up for your match. The new one is just like if I wanted to relax, I’d listen to it and lay down on my bed.
Had to stick with the classic music.

Yeah…Ken’s theme is almost always remixed with an electric guitar sound. I guess it just fits his theme. I don’t understand how you could mistake that theme for Ryu’s theme.
I personally am really liking the soundtrack. Not surprising since some of the songs I regularly listened to on ocremix like 4 years ago when I got my first mp3cd player so I appreciate those works finally making it into a game. I always thought some of the stuff on that site was definitely game worthy. Personally the Sexy Trunks theme I would say fits Balrog’s stage. Maybe it’s not the best song for pumping you up for battle but I like a good variety in a fighting game soundtrack. Not every single song has to be hardcore get you ready for battle. It gets repetitive when every song is similarly paced. I prefer the song to fit the theme of the background and Sexy Trunks IMO does that very well.
CPS2 music is where it’s at but the soundtrack is really growing on me. I really appreciate how they mixed in a sped up version of some of the songs and a climax part for when the round is about to end. Very good stuff.

I think its kinda weak. Its like, a pansy guitar recorded through a mic input sounding. I’ve heard better ones (Perestroika by K-Shi “Diverse vs Capcom”) That couldve/shouldve been used.
Soundtrack is mixed for me. I wouldve preferred the epic boxer theme from BotA cause thats one among a few that really get me pumped up.
But then again I’m the guy that likes to listen to Sagat’s theme in chill mode as long as it isn’t heavy raw rock shit. (Look up Sexy Thai Guy)
The main menu music is my fav.
Ken and DeeJay is all that I like.
Some stray too far off the original melody, like Ryu, and WTF @ Balrog music?
