dirzzt360: while some people in this thread DO get off on giving people grief, you need to understand that the purpose of this thread is not to give people grief. That isn’t why were playing. If anything is giving these people grief its the game and their own insecurities. What posesses someone to send another person a hateful message after they lose? Thats what this thread is about. If every hate message I ever got was instead a question as to how to not lose to certain strats, then there be a lot more teaching going on. The fact of the matter is, if someone sends me a hate msg, im not entitled to teach them shit. Furthermore, Im not a man who will take your insults IRL, so why should I on the internet? Don’t remember the gamertag but about 2 weeks after the game came out I fought a Zangief player who I double perfected on (I main Guy BTW) by pretty much doing either bushin flip/throw or izuna drop because all he did was jump in an attempt to buffer his command throws. That’s all he did.
After the match he sent me a message along the lines of “F U Noob, quit using the same move”. After that I just replied in a friendly manner (in an attempt to give him a tip, was honestly trying to be nice): “don’t jump so much, makes your game predictable.”
After that he proceeded to threaten me so I reported and blocked him.
I got one from a guy I beat who played a flowchart Ken. He wrote : “You are the shittiest player on Earth.” I wrote back : “Congratz sir. You just lost to the shittiest player on Earth!” He responded with : “I oughtta slap you to hell.” lulz
