Yeah, definitely not. Most of the community is good. I get many more GG’s and compliments than angry messages. It’s just the angry messages that are funny.
I try to send out GGs when I win or lose. Helps keep my sodium levels down. Man it amazes me the amount hate mail some of you get.

I played my main Hakan versus a Rose in endless today, best of 5. the first two matches went squarely to the rose. The next two I was able to squeek by and win, so it was all tied up. I’d say we were both of equal skill, and I was able to come back at that point only because the rose was beginning to get predictable. However, before the 3rd match started, a message came up saying the Host left the session, and the session closed on me.
I didn’t think much of it, such things happen, but then I get this message a few seconds later:
Subject: LOL
"u did nt think ull win DID YOU ???
LMMFAOHARD"
to which I replied: “well of course i can’t win if you ragequit. we were even man, it was anyones game. either of us could have won, but the match was cut short”
so basically this guy ragequited, and acted like I had no chance of winning. I honestly don’t know which of us would have won, but now we’ll never know. I seem to get every kind of sore-player, but sore-losers.

i played some guy today, i forget his name, and forget who he was using (i think he used a few different ones) and after beating him a couple of times he messaged me ‘teach me how to tick throw like you’ (id got him a few times with tick cr.jab into TT with abel)
so i sent him a message explaiing how to tick throw in basic terms and he replied with one saying ’ oh a lot of people tell me its cheating and not to use it, kind of like an unwritten rule’
i rely along the lines of ‘ha ha oh no its a legit tactic not cheating at all, the people who tell you its cheating just dont know how to play it properly ha ha’
weird thing was he had a ken at 5000bp as well and beat me a couple of times, so was kinda surprised he thought tick throwing was supposedly cheating. hopefully after my message hes gonna be tick-kara throwing all the noobs who think its cheating.
Only time tick throwing was ever cheap was in ST where Dhalsim and Balrog would loop it over and over. Even then it was a fair tactic
i just got this gem after beating this guy 2x in a row no problems at all, he is pretty terrible.

I was playing some guy last night and he was talking over the mic. I never have my mic plugged in so his voice was coming from the tv speakers. After I beat his Ibuki and the win animation was playing he says “Dude, if you have any self respect, you’ll learn to play a real character.” or something to this effect.
I just can’t understand sore winners. I mean, if you just won, why do you need to hate? I don’t get too much hate mail, but most of the time it is from when I lose. I don’t really care about my rank (B+), pp, or anything like that. But it seems that a select few who are of lower rank just like to rub it in my face when they win.
I always respond nicely by the way. Even to the haters, they get so confused. ^o^
