How did you come to that conclusion?
Kind of silly you come into a thread, complain about griefing by uhh…trolling :wtf:, and then tell a story about how you like griefing people who pick the same character as you.
Oh no, kiddo, I definitely play to win (and am often successful), but I like to keep in mind it’s only a game/hobby. I understand if this game is all you have, that playing for 8 hours a day is your high peak of existence, but you gotta realize that you are not everybody. You are the minority.
I laugh when I make a stupid mistake that cost me a match, or if I was too baked/drunk to pay attention to stop an obvious attack. Hell, sometimes I’m just outmatched by a guy who obviously plays more than I do, or has a playstyle I’m not used to dealing with but oh well, they weren’t pussy nerd douches about the win trying to throw it in my face. The only wins/losses I don’t care for are the laggy “underwater” ones 
You, however may be the type kick your dog/smash your stick/pad, contemplate suicide or something. Please don’t!
Just my extra 2 cents, nothing is wrong with taunting by the way, however overuse is another story though. Picking training stage to ‘punk off’ your opponent is kind of lame too. But hey, do what makes you happy in the pixelated world if the real world hurts too much 
Everyone needs some type of happiness in life. 
I like the way the few people that have responded to me (aside from Alkipot) interpret what I say in their own way so as to make it fit thier arguement better. The point of any of my post’s go right over thier heads. Very entertaining.
P.S. I do enjoy trolling and griefing on this forum from time to time…shit I dont even have to try, it just happens.
Hey i got 2 kids it aint my fault if after having spent all day with them i like to think the people i beat online are them (as in the character not the actual person :p). So hell yeah winning is everything to me on this game cos the little shits kick the crap outa me all day ive got to have some sort of release.
This is funny. Please tell me how you can grief someone in SSF4? I am not good at this game by any means, but I like to play to win. So if some jump happy ken is getting s.hk with my bison the whole round then maybe he should stop jumping? Or when Im playing guile and they send a message crying about sonic booms and flash kicks. Give me a break. Go on to the next match, use a different tactic etc. dont cry about it.

If I beat a guy in a match just by doing s.hk (for the sake of arguement) with bison I figure the guy couldnt figure out what to do about it. If he sends me a message all pissed off I wont even pay attention most times. Sometimes, I’ll respond and tell that person how to beat such a tactic. If the person sticks around after that s.hk beating I’ll tell him (if he has a mic) and show him how to deal with that. I bet most of you wouldnt. You would just keep on beating him till he left. In most cases a match or two and a person would leave after something like that. And I think most of you would be expecting hate mail, even wanting it, after that. I get the feeling it gives most of you some kind of sense of power over the other person. Something like that…
Most of you would not teach that person anything. I know, you’ll say something like you dont have the time to be teaching him how to play. You must have the time, you’re just sitting there playing a game. How hard could it be to spout off some tactics to the noob? No, I think its that a lot of you dont want such a person to learn because you enjoy giving him a beating and him not being able to do anything about it. Not me, I want everyone I play against to be able to compete. If its always a one sided battle its no fun for anyone imo.

Ahh, you have kids. So you are a grown up after all. Maybe not in terms of gaming, but eh…
Still, I only take video games so seriously (yes, I do have my smokefest/drinkfest SF binge sessions that go on for hours, and I do make youtube videos every now & then). But using my own logic, I am not everyone either.

Ive actually mirror matched a lot of dudleys. Thats how I learned to play him. I like mirror matches, just not blanka mirror matches. You can learn a lot from mirror matches.

Haven’t got any hate msg after I won but I got a weird 1 after I lost. Somebody beat me with guile and told me to “stop jumping”. What? You won! I usually send gg or something.

You seem to have missed the point of my story and why I posted. Thats ok though, you’re probably really busy atm. Let me break it down. I stoped playing against him, not to grief him, but to placate his ego. Now im not totaly sure that he was indeed being a dick but that is the feeling I got, considering the fact that he taunted the shit out of me when he was beating me with fei. I just didnt think I needed to divulge that part because it didnt really seem important. But for narrow minded folks like you a minor detail like that is important.

I like mirror matches too, especially Juri & Adon. Some people try to show me up with Adon if I beat them with him in a non-mirror… still fun cuz I can usually [media=youtube]4JL380n6Qis[/media]. Definitely not pro play, but I do have fun!
And yes, not all people with kids act like adults. Very true (I know a few).

I sent a msg to a guy after he beat me today. I noticed that he was British (Something that I don’t see everyday) and since this was Endless, I used only British Characters, My Dudley sucks and my Cammy’s worse. After 2 games of equally bad plays and extreme lag, he left. Which made me wanted to sent a msg to make fun of the English. It didn’t help that his name was “Learn or Leave”.
I sent a message like that once because somebody kept jumping onto my c.hp. It’s boring to win a match like that. I don’t want to win doing one button over and over, but I had to because the guy gave me no choice, so I sent “STOP FUCKING JUMPING!”

Also people still hate on the training stage? Sad… I don’t pick it to piss anyone off. I pick it because I genuinely like it.
