Similar to me. My performance is inconsistent, and my execution is mediocre at best, yet 100% of messages from players have been a mix of “Good Game,” “Nice Fei,” and “Good footsies, adaptability, etc.”
I wish some would take the time and send hate mail to me. I envy those that seem to keep hate mail almost regularly.
All my compliments come when I play Rose. When I play Akuma and win, it’s like I kicked their mother in the box.
It wasn’t you. It’s just that all the bad Akuma’s out there have generated a LOT of hate for him.
My 689BPAkuma received a “ur shit cheap ass” from a scrubby 27xx BP Ken after severely dominating him and embarrassing him best of five rounds 3-1. hahaha (sorry ANTMAN2007, but you should have been a good sport).
I pulled out a Zangitroll on a ken yesterday (and won haha!). I was expecing Hatemail, which would be very much deserved. But I got none. I guess some people can take a joke better than you would expect them to.
If only I had that music playing though…

i dont think he was trying to boast about his akumas BP, akuma might not even be his main. why so salty? 
I didn’t mean to imply my Akuma was impressive, just the opposite. I just wanted to illustrate tha I wasn’t beating on somebody with no points at all and his salty reaction to it.

I was Dan (who I just tried for fun, but know some stuff about him) and ended up playing a 4k Balrog. I ALWAYS lose to Balrog with my usual character (Seth), but I actually won. Got some a lucky hit in at the end of each round and won the best of 3. Round 2 I was on a silver of life and knocked down, so he did his ultra on me, and I did a wake-up ultra on him and mine beat his and I pummled his face. Round 3 we were each down to a silver again and I did an EX-fireball and he did a dash at the same time and I won.
He messaged me saying I had a good Dan and didnt know how to fight him and it was a lot of fun.
I think he was the only character I beat using Dan that night 
All my Dan fights last almost the whole time limit because I do lots of footsies and taunt.
Its funny because its all he has
Him: “lol seth is gay”
Me: “Look who’s talking Ryu player number 1139. Don’t make comments about characters you don’t play.”
Him: “don’t get mad it’s just a game ***”
Me: “Who’s mad? you’re just another Ryu scrub who doesn’t know shit about Seth.”
I got hate mail the other day from a Ryu. It was nothing fancy just a short and simple ‘FUCK YOU’. I main Gen btw
Whenever I get a salty response…I always respond with…“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” and when they respond again…AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…and when they get so upset they have to use curse words…another string of AHA’s…it must make them mad.
A lot of people also ask me if my name is in reference to FF6…which I always respond with “sure is!”

the guy sent me a voice message. first time i’ve gotten one.
something along the lines of "the only reason you f… won is because you use a cheap ass character who’s ultra can go through special moves, why don’t you pick a real f… character that takes real f… skill mother f…
i don’t use mic, so i typed back, “awe, somebody sad?”
yea i know, thats kinda trolling him, but he bit, and sent me another message:
“im NOT SAD you piece of… you used a stupid f… character that doesnt take any skill,” then random raging, something about not being able to get laid, etc…
i sent him text back, “i think someone’s sad :(”
