i know dude i know haha i know how to punish with sak pretty well but i can never get enough punishes to win the match. slight lag can make me eat a fireball for my focus dash attempts and if i manage to focus even remotely close enough to do anything he teleports or air tatsu. if i try to follow a teleport with viper burnkick he srk me out of the sky. on teh rare chance i manage to get through his fireballs with a burnkick and dont get anti air srked he just teleports.
but this is kinda derailing the thread lol. if any of you have acces to psn then play this guy when you get a chance
I normally don’t do this but I figured I had some time to kill…
pacv; 11K+, B+ Ranked Gen player that I ran into the other day, who literally did nothing much but dive kick, jump in attacks and tick throw (which I teched roughly 95% of the time). I was just goofing around in Ranked just yesterday, trying to get the grips of Chun since I wanna try to sub her (just shy of 3K in points, so she’s still new to me), and we played three full matches, the first one he just narrowly wins, and I mean just barely. Second match I win (note that I managed to score one perfect per match). Third match he beats me 3-0 (best of 5) but I kept it close still. So, I’m not thinking much of this, but 5 seconds later the dude gives me a message
“poor loser bitch… respect me.”
…Really? This guy had literally the lamest play-style for Gen I’ve ever seen. No combos or anything, just dive/jump kick and throw. It was all the guy had. So, I don’t feed the troll… First I block any messages from the guy, then when we met up again some 10 minutes later, I switch to my main Sakura and beat him soundly. Seriously, people need to improve their skills in the ring and shut their mouths when it’s obvious they aren’t good at all and just play too damn much.

Me:“You ran the entire match, and kept doing that stupid headbutt. What was I supposed to do? Get hit by your headbutt so you can juggle me into your super? Learn2block, ho!”
Him:“fuck u pussy!!! scrubs like you can’t see me offline with those fruity skills. if the best you can do is utilize a laggy ultra from gen to win then you have no hopes of being on my level!”
Even though he’s supposedly “awesome”, and knows the match-up, he doesn’t know that Gen’s Crane U2 is an overhead, and believes it’s a “lag” ultra instead.
Got a msg along the lines of “Get skill and stop camping in a fighting game.” A lot of people seem to think the game is entirely based on doing combo’s (while that is still important), but they do predictable shit a lot like jump towards me the entire match hoping to start their combo off that way. Dhalsim is probably the most hated character online, but I guess that’s to be expected.
Just faced a Cammy called aCasualBlackGuy and just turtled the hell out of him since all he did was Spiral Arrow. He sent me a message that said “turtle” and I responded with “hare.”
Got a message from someone named solbadboy101 or some shit. I was playing Ryu and finished his Sagat with the SRK FADC+ Metsu Hadouken, then sent him a GG message. His reply was:"GG? Get off Daigo’s nuts with the focus cancel shit before you send me a GG message asshole!"
Didn’t reply, tho I did laugh my ass off while reading it.
