Hey guys watch out for a player on XBL named Blooded Fury, the guy has slowsky internet and tries to use dhalsim to throw people off. Not to mention he talks mad shit on the mike.

Mostly people have commented how great my Fuerte is (I’m not that good) and been decent to me as a whole. But then again I haven’t been playing in the ranked matches much, enjoying the ‘fun’ games and lobbies as I try to learn Ibuki (who I want to be my new main).
If I go back to playing Fuerte full time in ranked matches, I am sure that the hate mail (like the spice) will flow.
I find I get much less hate when I play with Elf. Even if I completely shut out the opponent on wake-up for two consecutive rounds, people just either send a “Wow, didn’t know he could do that” or “Nice” messages.
I don’t think people tend to get as salty over being beaten by the Fuerts since it’s not an easy win for him.
I can tell people don’t take him as a serious opponent by the amount of taunts people throw out at me, even if I’m winning.
I’m sure if I could do a five-hit RSF consistently, the rage would flow like a fine wine. Alas, I cannot.
Have had multiple, but I have one finally worth posting. I was playing a flowchart ken, can’t remember his gt. Took first round easily, he only got a hit or two. Second round I was on my way to a perfect, he had very little life left. He caught me with a wake up ultra and as soon as the animation quits for the ultra he disconnects. I get a message a couple seconds later saying, “I win”. I lol’d a long time after that one.

You should be expecting some kind of reversal, specifically a DP or an Ultra.
Uh I’m getting far less hate mail than before. I still play the same game and I throw far more than average. So I don’t know what the deal is.

Played this dude on PSN the other day, named “JoKeRsWiLd_BOSS”. He just spammed dive-kicks with Juri and I punished him every time. The connection was good and flowed surprisingly smoothly. The following conversation starts:

This was my first time dealing with it on SSFIV. Man, people get salty. Other than that I just get a lot of “GGs” or “Damn lag!”
I played a Rose player yesterday ( i use cody), it was a decent game but i won in the end. after the match i sent him a gg message and he replied with “gg, to bad i couldnt really do much because you kept mashing”. When i read the message i was confused so i sent him back a message saying “why dont you watch the reply back and try and look for some mashing…because there was none…either way cody doesnt even have a move fast enough or invincible on startup to mash”. then he sent me back a message saying dont get offended or something like that. anyways after watching the videos back and him sending me another message as far as he is concerned i was mashing EX zonk knuckle…

LOL, I got my first hate mail not from USA XBL, but from my Japanese XBL account… Since I have FIOS connection living here on the west coast, so my connection to Japan is actually quite good, so I decided to create a Japanese account to play against Japanese Players… I am somewhat disappointed at least at the lower level ranked matches, they are worse than the US XBL players. I went from 0 PP to 2050 PP in 40 matches with my Japanese account… Maybe once I get my PP higher, I may start seeing better competition from better Japanese players.

I was using my Cammy and I played against this 5000+ BP Japanese Gen player named HunkPunk, I basically tick->threw him to death and I beat him 2 games straight, he lost buncha PPs and BPs to me (since I had like 0 BP and 0 PP, so he lost over 200+ BP/PPs to me) so he wrote me the hate message above.
FWIW, no matter how good you think your connection is, there’s no way it’s actually good in a 150 ping match. LA to Japan is dodgy in GGPO and HDR. The netcode in this game is far worse. Just sayin…
