My favorite thing about Makoto is the way that, unlike all other characters, Makoto gets stronger when put into the corner. thats because of command grab -> FP -> SA2. Well, of course you can’t do Fierce - > Ultra in the SF4 Engine, so that means SA2 will either need to be her super (meh), or she can’t cancel FP into that anymore… which takes away my favorite thing about her. Now I’ve heard all this talk about super timer -> Ultra or someting, but thats a lot of meter for something that I always felt was vital to her character. Then again, combo into ultra without any meter would be strong, so maybe they’re afraid to do that. We’ll have to see.
