Fight Night #2 was a huge success! Thanks again to everyone who showed up, and congratulations to our top three:
1st: Seth
2nd: Keigo
3rd: Theo
Everyone who showed up was there to fight and win, and there were tons of hype matches! By next month’s tournament there will be either bandwidth to push video at the venue, or another venue in which we can push video. Either way, we’ll get the stream sorted.
Keep an eye out on this board for more events in eugene/springfield!
We had a 16 fighter tournament at Fight Night #1 and #2, and there were 8 or so new fighters at #2. Bunches of Fighters that couldn’t make it this time sent their assurances that they’d make the next Fight Night, so we’re looking at a minimum of 24 fighters at Fight Night #3. No need to be salty that you missed the experience of a lifetime… Fight Night #3 is next month!
Thanks for the compliment on our growing scene. This one was actually out of 16.
Haters gonna hate.
AY didn’t you guys come from losers bracket in the team tourney? And Seth and I put you there? No excuses but by the time GF’s rolled around I had 2 12% 24oz beers and a shot. Not the best games of sf. S’all good though, maybe we’ll see a runback if you guys make it down. Get them stick skills down.
naw man. Ronnicle is just jokin. Maybe I was harsh with Mack and I’ll edit. I just dont see any reason for that when Eugene has tried so hard to build up a scene in a place with only 200,000. Whatever it’s all good.
I want to see what you posted before you edited it.
and Theo, whats good with them drinking characters? You should roll up to Portland so I can body you with those stick skills. no homo.
And you should money match Sam at marvel. Take that dudes money.
Nah… We from the Emerald City have a right to talk shit to Salem. Prior to this tournament, they said they’d come down for the free money. What happens the day of the tournament? They don’t show up!
Maybe some day Taiga and I will come up to whatever tournament Salem is hosting, and just burn down the capital. Blow it up.
And by the way, it was the experience of a lifetime. When you get first place and nobody claps for you, but they clap for the runners up, you know you did a good day’s work, my friend!
if street fighter is involved in your exp of a lifetime AND you’re not in japan playing street fighter getting sucked off bye some fine japanese bitches at the same time, you’re priorities are out of order.
What’s with Salem randomly talking shit on a new fighting game scene? Hilarious. Just remember, street fighter is srsbzns, hopefully we’ll see what Salem has to offer next time.
PS: Whoever the Dan player was at the tournament, you and me gotta do a mirror for some PBR or something. That’s so tight that you actually play him in tourney, I’ve always been too chicken.
