hey guys, what can i do about vegas off-wall jump into grabbing bodyslam? this guy knocked me down and kept spamming it over and over, and there was no time to move, it was get knocked down, while im getting up vegas jumping off the wall and before i can even move hes grabbing me to slam me, repeat until death =\
its useful but i would suggest practicing with it because even the it does beat it out, honda’s headbutt is faster than you think.

Zangief grabs, also ultra 1, Honda grabs, also ultra 2, t hawk grabs and ultra 1, hakan command grab (only when oiled) and also ultra 1, damn even ibuki with ultra 1 can punish a blocked MGB quite effectively. Not effective reversals who looked like they could do it: Balrog ultra 2 and Guy Ultra 2 were unable to punish blocked MGB. So those looked like quite a fuck for me, specially ibuki couse she’s not a grappler at all, she’s all the time throwing air kunais, and hell, reversal Yoroitoshi (u1) does a lot of dmg for a blocked MGB

Hey, found some new stuff testing tonight:
In Golden Gunman’s Dudley Guide, he explains that Target Combo 8 (:lk: -> :mk: -> :mp: -> :hp:) will put you at such a distance that you cannot be 360’d after the string is over. And this is true. Furthermore, testing with Hakan, you are out of range of an EX-Oil’d 360 grab. This goes double for Gief’s and Hakan’s 720 Ultras.
HOWEVER
T.Hawk’s 720 Ultra is still in range; therefore his 360 grab must be in range as well. So I would recommend that if you use Target Combo 8 as a way of easy damage, cancel with a DP or Super (if you’ve got it stocked) and backdash from T.Hawk on wakeup.

Dudley’s cr.fp beats Bison’s head stomp, devils reverse, and ultra II. seeing as how his st.fp beats a lot of things I assume that it can beat out his psycho crusher. I haven’t many Bisons to know how to get it though but, hopefully this should help you keep him out.

I get beaten out with st.HK, Scissors pressure and st.LK if I try and poke after Scissors.
I don’t know many bisons who rely on Headstomp and Psycho Crusher.
My favorite headbutt counter is s.Strong xx Duck to set up mix-up. s.RH works for this too, but has less success in my experience.
Yea, Bison is a super shitty matchup for me too. Dudley just doesn’t seem super great at footsies against certain characters. Once Bison gets in on you, it’s scissorsville + hk/mk all day, and I have yet to find something you can do about it that’s reliable. EX Dp gets you out, but you need 3 meters to make it safe. Thunderbolt also gets you out, but it’s risky because of the long recovery, thought it’s “only” 2 meters if you fadc out of it vs 3 for dp. Cross counter works when the Bison gets poke happy - if you feel gutsy, you can go for ex cross counter, ultra 2. But these are rather minor bandaids - scoring a knockdown is pretty key to ensure you can start some of your shenanigans. If the Bison has ex-meter, he can pretty much ex psycho crusher his way out of trouble. I really don’t like that matchup at all.
Cross Counter wont do much for the cr.LKs.
Hard to bait the st.HK as well.
Came in 2nd place at our SSF4 laucnh event, used Dudley and felt I did well given I had the game two days
Anyway, I lost to a Juri in the final, hadn’t a clue what to do, any ideas guys?
