Saturday, May 15th in Baltimore Maryland, **Xanadu Games **will host our regular monthly event. Come test your skills against the best competition MD has to offer!

Featured Events

This Month Xanadu Games will be hosting it’s FIRST tournament for Super Street Fighter 4! New characters, new blood. With over 30 entrants last month, the competition for SSF4’s debut is sure to be intense. Once again XG will also be featuring Arcana Heart 3! The game is not out on console yet, so come out and play the fresh arcade hardware version at XG’s May Monthly!

Rules:

  • All games are best 2 of 3 matches. Winners/Losers Finals and up are 3 of 5.
  • SSF4, HD Remix, GG, and MB matches are best 2 of 3 rounds. T6 is 3 of 5.
  • Time for all games will be their American tournament standards. (No infinite time.)
  • In-game macros allowed
  • Winners must keep the same character for the next match; Losing player may switch.
  • HD Remix: Akuma is Banned.

Prize:
1st = 70% of prize pot
2nd = 20%
3rd = 10%

Prizes will be rounded to closest dollar / five dollar amounts depending on pot size.

I’ll be boosting HDR’s pot by 50-100 dollars. I’ll have the official number by next Friday.

I’m going to try to be there. Wanted to go to the April one but found out about it at last minute… Glad you’re doing the ah3 tournament again.

Sent the money, 50 bucks for HDR. krost will be handling the details on how the split will go.

Hmm, so many options:

$50 first place (increased desire to become the winner)
$50 for top 3 in 70:20:10 ratio (increased desire to reach top 3)
$50 for top 5 or 7 in some appropriate ratio (increased desire to reach top X)
$50 for top X in equal ratio (more increased desire to reach top X but less to do better)
$50 in 25 paid-for $2 entries (guaranteed 25 players)
