Whatever Dee Jay’s alt gonna be, it better has sunglasses with it. I can’t think of anything for T. Hawk… hmm? Maybe a kind of police costume to resemble the fat cop in FF?

Costume swap and custom edit please. Eg I would love to give Sagat Abel’s shin guards. Give Rufus Bison’s cape that would be too funny, give Deejay a bandana, the possiblities are endless.
Give Makoto a japanese schoolgirl uniform - that will confirm all remove speculations from people thinking whether she is a boy or a girl.

In the manga adaptation of the Street Fighter II Animated Movie (which doesn’t follow the plot of the anime at all), Bison captures Guile, brainwashing him and disguises him as Ken to attack Ryu but still keeps his regular attacks.
I would find it amusing if Guile’s alternate costume was him disguised as Ken but a lot of people would probably not get the reference.
And I’d also like Chun-Li in the outfit she wore to fight Vega in the anime SF2 animated movie.
I think I’d like to see a less comical El Fuerte. Make the mask a little less like underwear, add some stereotypical stuff, and lose the hair.
custom colour edit would be nice but it wouldnt be as comprehensive as cvs2
because you would end up with naked cammys etc…
i think where you can inter-change any of the colours of different bits from the whole set of ten colours would be good.
eg
colour 1 gloves
colour 10 headband
etc…
Sorry if someone already said it but as homage to all the modders out there in PC world (i don’t play on PC but i like to see the crazy shit people are putting together) it would be nice if Capcom did a submissions contest.
We would vote on the best costumes, they take the winning submissions (fixed them up a bit) and gave them to people as a free or very cheap alt pack.
The only rules would be no copyright infringement. So no incredible hulk Gief or Lobo Akuma (does that exist or did i just make that up…), homages would be ok but there is a fine line…

The current alternate costumes are very unsatisfying. There are some that are going in the right direction, though (El Fuerte’s alternate, Sakura’s tenth color alternate…). But, Ryu without a shirt on, Bison with battle damage, Chun-Li’s atrocious Queen Amadala dress, and Fei Long in panties are absolutely unpleasant.
I’m thinking they should be more ridiculous with alternate costumes. Seth in a suit is an amazing idea. Fei Long in one of those cool looking Chinese kung-fu outfits (I have no idea what you’d call it…the article of clothing that buttons up all the way and has a cool looking collar). Chun-Li in police gear. It’s so easy to make the characters look cool!
for Honda’s defense sumo wreslters such as yokozunas actually do wear ropes for entrance ceremonies. yeah so Honda’s alt is deifently a culture refrence .
No love for Dictator’s cape.
Give me that and I could care less what everyone else has.

I think a casual t-shirt and ripped jeans would look cool on either Sakura or Ibuki.
