Balrog alt: Extremely pimp. But I still don’t feel like playing Balrog.
Cammy alt: I really don’t get the hate. I like Bison. I like Cammy’s ass. Now I can have both on the same character! Seems like a winner to me…now if only she had purple flames on Spiral Arrow…
Chun-Li alt: Colorful. Maybe a bit TOO colorful, but I really wouldn’t say I hate it. I’d have to see other palettes to really judge.
Dan alt: AMAZING. So much better than his old alt. Blanka-Dan is headed straight for S tier, mark my words.
Rufus alt: Chinese as hell. Really works for Rufus, I think. Love the random ward on the front of his hat.
Zangief alt: YES. Just…YES.
Dan with Woli clothes and MECHA ZANGIEF. Now that’s pimp.
I love the Balrog one too, it seems that he got his fight money. Chun-Li’s and Rufus’ are meh, but oh well.
As for DJ, some kind of real DJ-like costume could be OK. Or if they are going with stereotypes (like they have been), it’s probably going to be some sort of rastafariganjaclothing, which I don’t really care to be honest.
Cammy’s 2nd alt. looks all the more sluttier, which was expected. I don’t really like that either but oh well. It looks funny though with the shoulderpads and big legguards. :looney:

That sounds awesome and to be honest it doesn’t sound so farfetched in my opinion.
For Guile it will either be a family man -outfit or maybe a Charlie transformation (and by that I mean that it’s Charlie - not Guile), because I really don’t think they will implement him as a new character.
These new alts look worse than the 1st set, I didn’t think that was possible.
Mecha-Zangief was cool in MVC but it looks so stupid here.
I like the idea of Cammy’s one but it isn’t well executed.
Chun’s looks like a bloated version of her original with some extra junk sewn on.
Balrog looks like he’s wearing a 90’s girls silver puffy bomber jacket.
Ken’s just sounds totally lame, I’d prefer to see him in a business suit like in the SFIV anime. Infact I’d like suits all round, rather everyone had stylish alts instead of joke ones.

Cammy and Zangief’s new costumes look like something you’d see on the PC version, really not a fan of either.

I won’t say anything on the costumes shown from the Famitsu pages, since they aren’t really that good quality, but anyway.
Rufus’ new alt looks better than his others. No more happy trail on his stomach for one, although the ward could have been left out, but either way it’s all round better.
Dan’s new alt is badass in both seriousness and joke meanings, nuff said.
Balrog has dreads, just in case no one noticed his hairdo.
His costume is still one of the best shown in the vid though.
Chun-li’s alt is a little too colourful, and I don’t like the shoes that they combined with the dress… I’ll wait and see other colours before I go hating it though.
I think Zangief would look better without a huge triangle on his chest to represent the hairy chest…
Cammy? I don’t really like Bison (Dic) all that much, so I don’t wanna say anything, but the leg armour looks rediculous to me…
I don’t really like Mech Zangeif either. I like the concept that they redesigned his old palette swap for inclusion for Super Street Fighter IV but I think it could have been a whole lot cooler looking.
Cammy’s reminds me of an old SFII “Where’s Waldo” style book in which M. Bison’s page had all of Shadowlaw wearing Bison style costumes. I would have much preferred Alpha Cammy instead.
Chun-Li’s reminds me of Nanase from the SFEX series although looking at Nanase again, the two don’t look alike. But I’m still reminded of her.
Balrog’s is awesome.
Dan’s is great too.
I have no opinion of Rufus’ either way. I guess I did want a more biker look for him though.
The only really bad Alt I’ve seen from SSF4 is Chun-Li’s - it makes Vega’s 1st Alt look good.

Ryu’s little pic in the scan on the top left looks plain and boring, hopefully it looks better with a clear shot.

If you look closely, Blanka looks like he’s wearing Dan’s pink pants (at least to me) so they pretty much switched, Dan is going jungle, and Blanka is taking Dan’s clothes.
Oh, and I wanna know what Abel’s third costume is. Although his old alt isn’t too bad, it’s not all that awesome either. massive boots and all.

No you aren’t though I do not like these colours for it, I think I’ll like it a lot with the alt colours.
I’m really curious if they will give Gouken a serious or comical alt outfit.
Maybe Gouken will get his dark grey gi as an alt.
I like Cammy’s new alt, but I think they should make the shoulder and leg guards smaller so that they fit her body size.
I think I would have liked some more familar costumes taken from previous games, endings from previous games, manga, anime, cartoons, comics… even the Van Damme movie and Legend of Chun-Li.
Some costumes you may think that look dumb in the live action movies have still got to be better than some of the costumes we are getting.
Although there are some new costumes I am thankful we are getting. Balrog’s is indeed awesome. I would have said SF1 Mike’s clothes but this is even better.
i also thought it would be great to give gouken his old outfit he has been in comics and such with, though i always thought it was brown not dark grey
and a thought, surely codys other outfits, they would look odd with him still having the chains on lol, unless of course the excuse is he uses them in his fighting style
and i cant imagine any outfit for adon, any at all…im stumped! though now i just saw spotted king9999’ avatar, nicely done =P
