i did originally ask if everyone had 3 costumes, another look at the trailer says
"new alternate costumes for all characters, all characters can choose between 3 costumes" with a nice big 3
so anyway
i doubt the costumes are unlocked from the start, maybe outfits 1 and “3” are, but the 10 new chars costume 2 will be dlc, as im sure the dlc for the other costumes are supposed to work on ssfiv
seen as they were were all released in packs of 5 and then a pack for all, maybe 2 more packs of 5 each and a pack with all 35?
and i totally think someone needs a shirt and jeans, before i was all for ken, now its gonna be cody, ken shold get some sorta suit! someone definitely neds to have a suit!
My understanding of how the old dlc costumes will work is that they’ll still be dlc in SSFIV, and that they will be transferable from SFIV to SSFIV. So you get to keep them, but somebody else who didn’t buy them would still have to buy them to get them. I believe Seth said it in an interview, but I have no idea which interview it was. Presumably the new costumes will be new dlc.
Actually, making us pay for the 3RD costume would be uber lame. That should most definitely be an alternate costume on the disc. I’m kosher with the DLC costumes still being DLC - that’s totally fine

They really messed up Cammy’s costume. If they’re going to do costume swapping, do Sak in Chun’s, although Dan - Blanka swap is cool too.
Loving Ryu and Chun’s though, especially samurai Ryu. PLEASE let him wear geta shoes, hakama wouldn’t be complete without it… Can they pull that off though, with difference in height and all? And then his win quote would be… ‘Shoes? I can certainly afford them. Brand new.’

Don’t get me started on Cammy’s costume. It is the most retarded shit to hit Capcom since the whole “yeah we’ll make Super Joe from Bionic Commando a badguy and douchebag.” I mean honestly, I can understand sex-appeal, but not even Chun-Li and Rose play out the whore card as much as Cammy. Her costume looks like something out of a 80’s porn film. It’s not sexy in any god damn way possible, it’s tacky, tacky and horrible, and in my opinion, IN MY OPINION, anyone who likes it is either perverted as fuck (ironically I main Cammy and regular look at H-related material), or has never worn anything stylish in their life. God, seriously, they could have given her a much better costume than that. Like, giving her something with pants for one would have been great, or hell, even one of the Alpha 3 Doll costumes, anything but “hurr hur I’ma cosplay as Bison, stare at my ass and side boobs.” Thinking about that, I shudder to think that Bison will get a Cammy costume as his alternate.
Player Balrog is a good costume, but I liked Balrog’s alt already, so I’d say good step there. I somehow had a feeling Mecha Zangief was going to come back, but I didn’t expect it to look so… Mazingerish. Oh well, Russian ingenuity. I love Ryu’s 2nd Alt, it’s something fairly simple and looks cool. Chun Li’s Plasma sword cosplay is something cool, and I could see generally cosplayed as. I kind of want to see what Guy and Cody’s 1st and 2nd Alt costumes look like. Also, Chinaman Rufus was great, they already did the jump suit outfit for Rufus, so I’m half-heartingly expecting Fei Long to look like either Kenshiro or he’ll get the silk top and go with some other Bruce Lee Movie I can’t think of.

I thought Cammy’s Dictator Costume was supposed to be a Continuity Nod to the plot point she was going to be Dictator’s new body waaay back in Alpha 3.
My brother, ShogunFlow does main Bison though, so we’ll be having hilariously ironic matches…
