The current alternate, while good, is disappointing because it is too redundant for the richest SF character, when Capcom could have taken advantage of her diversity of sides.

Streets of Rage’s Axel was a blatant rip-off of Final Fight’s Cody and since Cody is in SSFIV, doesn’t it make more sense to just give Cody his original FF costume as an alt?
Yes! a much better idea!! :tup: I think Capcom would really be stupid not to give Cody his FF costume as an alt, since there is big demand on it from many fans, and it looks really cool as well.

I understand the immediate limitations with the Seth suit, but dammit, can we get a Seth vest at least?
Hmmm it’s hard trying to think of alts that compliment the character and are legitimate customization choices and not just jokes. Gen’s, Dan’s, Ryu’s, among others are suitable, but since we’ll have a THIRD alt at the very least, they can mixup the ones who got appropriate alts and do more justice to folks that got shafted.

I posted a list on Gamefaqs talking about what I thought were some good ideas for alts, Kato was one of them. I think the Kato costume would be amazing. I guess great minds think alike, eh? I just wished more people shared our opinion, then maybe it would make it into SSF4…

Crimson Viper - Why not let her tie in with the whole Final Fight theme that is going on in SSF4? I say give her a poison outfit! Put Seth in a basketball jersey if that’s what it takes to give him clothes that don’t interfere with the stretchy arms (may I suggest that of a certain team from NY).
Boxer needs to do a Pacman and wear shorts with multiple endorsements.
C. Viper should get the Captain Commando alt, seeing as they’ve got similar moves.
Vega should get Geki
Ibuki should get a Rolento alt, similar to Super Gem/Pocket Fighter.
