ex ball into super? i guess this is a mistake. i know you can to this combo with a normal blanka ball but ex?

Lol. This is a stage specific combo. Only works if you get the training mode stage :wink:

I thought ex ball was the only ball that would cancel rockcrusher after one hit? Except in AE and stage specific of course. Also could someone else try j.hk>u/b cs.mp>s.hk xx super? Been trying that today but not getting it. Impossible?

I’ve been going for cr.lk, cr.lk, st.lp xx hp elec more lately. It’s better than ending it with ball if you don’t have super.

That cr.lk link is getting easier now that I’m trying to combo into super more. Just something to think about.

Been keeping my eye on the yellow healthbar flash, like a mini hit stun timer. Helps sometimes. Btw is my combo idea above a fake? Save my sanity. :slight_smile:

far hk isn’t cancelable only close hk.

wait, do you mean the actual training room (always full meter enabled) or the stage in endless/ranked/team/whatever?

It’s a joke. Obviously you can’t have five meters, so you can’t ex-roll into super. If one of Blanka’s moves had armor, you could armor cancel into Ultra, but that’s still Ultra not Super.

I’ve been using cr.lk, cr.lk, st.lp xx hp elec more recently. It is way better than canceling into ball and I really wonder why I don’t see it more.

cr.lk, cr.lk, cr.lk, st. lp xx hp elec combos on him, you can even add on super in the corner.

Edit: works on honda if you do a deep jumpin.

Guiles hitbox is messed up.

j.hk, cl.mp, cr.lk, st.lp xx hp elec works on him midscreen.

j.HK, cr.MK, cr.LK, st.LP xx Ball works on Ryu but cr.LK seems to wiff on some chars like boxer…

EDIT: okay i didnt test on everybody but i think it works on everybody! boxer including (cr.LK wiffs sometimes and doesnt even hit block)

Landed this off of a dizzy for kicks a minute ago, it looks mildly flashy as far as blanka combos go.

Yeah shgl uses this combo, or with st.mp replacing cr.mk. It’s pretty good, I try to stick to 2 frames for bnbs with blanka though because there isn’t a large damage difference most of the time. the only exception is when I do cr.lk x 2

sup guys, verserius, ggs at WGF, i was playin some casual the other day and i SWEAR i landed this combo and i tried to do it again but just couldnt :confused:
i think i did it on Seth, the combo was,…j.hk, far mp, cr.hk

it was able to sweep him for a 3 hit combo and it stood out in my head cuz ive never seen/done it before. im trying to learn framedata so at the moment i dont if i did something that was possible or not. anyone know if this works? also, i went to training mode and used counter hits also but still couldnt do it. any thoughts?

Counterhit bonuses only apply to the initial hit, however I have an idea of what happened here.

You hit the far mp meaty somehow which caused it to hit on active frame 3 or later. So by hitting it meaty you end up with the same hitstun, but you’ve already used up some of the active frames, which allowed you to be +6 or better and thus link sweep.

I’ll poke around and see if I can find a setup for it, I’ve been trying to find some more in combo meaties to make Blanka’s combos easier/open up new ones.

so off of a jumpin crouching seth has a lot of head reelback. Blanka’s only move that really has a highish hitbox that allows followups is far mp.

together this lets you get a complete meaty far.mp vs Seth, and you can get up to a +7 advantage(though you can’t link ultra as far as I can tell because you are out of range)

However I was able to link cr.mp afterwards. Sweep eludes me, but I can see how it is possible, it’s just probably a perfect range thing.

Against crouching chun i was able to do cr.short x 2 then follow up with meaty far st.mp(doesn’t combo), but off of that you can link cr.mk xx ball.

this is going to be a bitch to find new combos.

if you’re +7 i would probably do s.HP as much as i could. it does incredible damage/stun for a normal.

the problem with a follow up st.hp or mp is that seth is reeling so far back that the initial frame seems to whiff every time.

The combo isn’t overly practical anyways, I’m just seeing what I can do to stretch the system.
